Bite Wound

This iron grey mare has a nasty bite wound on her neck from another horse.
Dr. Assma has removed the dead tissue and and daily treatment begins.

She will probably be hospitalised with us for a couple of weeks.

This poor undernourished mare was admitted suffering from strangles and she also has a lung infection. Dr. Assma and Dr. Pola discussed her condition and her daily treatment whilst he is hospitalised with us.

We hope to greatly improve her body condition whilst she is here at ACE.

Road Traffic Accident

This poor mare was involved in a traffic accident. Both front legs have large and very deep lacerations, so she was sedated for our team of vets to treat her.

Her wounds were debrided and cleaned and she is on antibiotics to avoid any infections setting in.

The mare is very sensitive and our team have to be careful not to be kicked.
Before heading home Pushka received a noseband in bright red which has been so kindly made with love by one of our amazing supporters. 💜
