الحدادة هي واحدة من أقدم الحرف التقليدية التي مارسها الإنسان منذ العصور القديمة، وتعد جزءاً لا يتجزأ من حياة المجتمعات الصحراوية

تتجلى أهمية الحدادة في الصحارى من خلال صناعة الأدوات التي كانت أساسية للحياة، مثل السكاكين والسيوف. السكاكين لم تكن فقط أدوات للطهي أو الزراعة، بل كانت تستخدم أيضاً كأدوات دفاعية، تلبي احتياجات سكان الصحراء لحماية أنفسهم في بيئة مليئة بالتحديات. أما السيوف، فقد ارتبطت بفخر المحاربين والشيوخ، وكانت رمزاً للقوة والشجاعة.

وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، أسهم الحدادون في صنع الحلي التقليدية من الفضة والمعادن الأخرى، حيث أبدعوا في تصميمها بشكل يعكس هوية المجتمع الصحراوي وثقافته العريقة.

نشكر الحدادين الكرام الذين شاركوا في مهرجان تجرهي الدولي للمهاري، على مساهمتهم القيمة وإحيائهم لهذه الحرفة التراثية، التي تعكس روح القوة والإبداع للمجتمع الصحراوي.

The recent Reuters report by Maggie Michael entitled "The Slaughter of Elgeneina" (ref. 1) has detailed and revealed the shocking truth about the systematic ethnic cleansing campaign that took place in the Sudanese city of Elgeneina earlier this year. The report, which is based on dozens of eyewitness accounts and satellite imagery, paints a picture of a brutal and coordinated campaign by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and allied Janjaweed militias against the city's majority Masalit tribe.

هيئة محامي دارفور وشركاؤها

توضيح هام

هيئة محامي دارفور مؤسسة حقوقية تأسست في عام ١٩٩٥م لتقديم العون القانوني للمتأثرين بإنتهاكات حقوق الإنسان في كل انحاء السودان ، وتسمية هيئة محامي دارفور لدلالات الرمزية القومية لدارفور ،والإسم ليس لمدلول الإعتبار المناطقي أو الجهوي لدارفور ، ويتولى رئاسة الهيئة الفخرية في هذه الدورة الشيخ الجليل الياقوت الذي له مساهمات معتبرة في قضايا الحقوق والحريات العامة خاصة مواقفه تجاه قضايا الطلاب المتأثرين بالإنتهاكات الممارسة بواسطة اجهزة الدولة .
اليوم وعلى نطاق وأسع تم نشر شريط فيديو لمجموعة بإسم الهيئة الإستشارية لمحامي دارفور، وما كان لهيئة محامي دارفور ان تقوم بإصدار هذا البيان التوضيحي لولا ضرورة إزالة اللبس الذي شاع وانتشر ، وقد اتصل العديد من الشركاء والأصدقاء وغيرهم يلتمسون التوضيح عن مدى علاقة هيئة محامي دارفور بالفيديو والبيان المنشور في الوسائط موضوع هذا البيان، ولأغراض إزالة اللبس تصدر الهيئة هذا البيان وتؤكد الآتي :
١/ الهيئة مؤسسة قانونية والإستشارات القانونية من ضمن مهامها الأساسية ، كما وليست لهيئة محامي دارفور حاجة لإنشاء أي جسم استشاري فالإستشارات القانونية من طبيعة عملها ، كما وليست لهيئة محامي دارفور اي علاقة بالجسم المسمى بالهيئة الإستشارية لمحامي دارفور والمعلنة عنها في الأسافير ،ولا يوجد ضمن الذين ظهروا بالإسم المذكور اي عضو من أعضائها ، ولم تسمع الهيئة وعضويتها بهذا الإسم إلا من خلال شريط الفيديو المبثوث في الأسافير .
٢/ أكدت المجموعة المعنية بشريط الفيديو المنشور عن إنحيازها الكامل لقوات الدعم السريع بحيثيات هي المعنية بها وليست هيئة محامي دارفور بأي حال من الأحوال ، فلكل جهة أو مجموعة وتحت اي مسمى ان تتخذ ما تشاء من مواقف على مسؤوليتها الذاتية .
٣/ هيئة محامي دارفور مؤسسة قانونية غير سياسية تعمل من أجل إرساء مبادئ حقوق الإنسان وسيادة حكم القانون ولا تدعم الحرب بأي حال من الأحوال .
٤/ من مهام الهيئة ممارسة الرقابة على كل الجهات المعنية بممارسات انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان ومن ضمنها الممارسات المنسوبة لطرفي الحرب الدائرة حاليا و هما قوات الدعم السريع وعناصر القوات المسلحة، وبالتالي لا يمكن لهيئة محامي دارفور ان تنحاز لقوات الدعم السريع أوغيرها .
٥/ تعرض أعضاء هيئة محامي دارفور بالعاصمة وولايات دارفور لكافة أصناف إنتهاكات حقوق الإنسان و ذلك منذ نشوب هذه الحرب العبثية وحتى الآن وقد تم في تواريخ سابقة قتل سبعة من أعضائها من ضمن شهداء الهيئة احد الزملاء والذي تم نهب منزله واغلاق المنزل عليه وحرقه حتى استشهاده ، وثاني تم قتله وترك جثمانه في العراء للكلاب الضالة، وثالث تم خطفه من منزله وقتله بصورة بشعة ،كما ضربت الأمينة العامة للهيئة بولاية شمال دارفور ضربا مبرحا ، كذلك نائبة رئيس الهيئة التي ظلت طريحة الفراش لأسبوع كامل بمنزلها ثم حجزت بمشفى لغرض مواصلة العلاج من آثار الضرب باعقاب البنادق والسياط والركل بالأقدام .
٦/لقد تعرضت مقار الهيئة ومنازل ومكاتب اعضائها للنهب والسلب مثل غالبية المتأثرين بإنتهاكات الحرب الجسيمة، فكيف لها ان تنحاز لأحد طرفيها والبلاد الآن تشهد الخراب والدمار والنزوح الجماعي والتشرد واللجوء بفعل هذه الحرب اللعينة.
ختاما :
تؤكد الهيئة ان هذه الحرب عبثية، وأكثر من تضرر منها الإنسان العادي بالخرطوم والجنينة ونيالا وتطالب بوقفها الفوري ،كما ولا تصلح اي شعارات مرفوعة مهما كانت سامية لتبريرها أو طمس الحقائق الدامغة.
تنويه : ستنشر الهيئة لاحقا مزيدا من التوضيحات من خلال اشرطة فيديو يتحدث فيها رئيس المكتب التنفيذي للهيئة الأستاذ صالح محمود والأمين العام الأستاذ آدم راشد .

Darfur Diaspora Meet ICC Officials

The Darfur Association of the U.K. held meetings with officials at the International Criminal Court in The Hague on Monday August 21st. The delegation raised atrocities perpetrated by the Janjaweed, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and its affiliates across Darfur and Khartoum. The delegation was assured by the ICC that the prosecutor will investigate crimes committed in West Darfur since the conflict intensified on April 15th 2023.

Speaking after meeting Abdallah Idriss, the head of the delegation said:

“The commitment given to the delegation by officials demonstrates the ICC's dedication to upholding justice and accountability. We stand ready to help in any way we can. Millions of civilians in Darfur deserve justice for the ongoing atrocities being perpetrated with impunity by the Janjaweed and the RSF.”

The Prosecutor has accepted the invitation of the Darfur Association to visit the U.K. in order to collaborate with diaspora networks and NGOs. This partnership will play a pivotal role in channeling testimony, information, expertise, and resources towards the pursuit of justice in Darfur.

Matters raised with ICC officials include the significant barriers to accountability for crimes being committed in Darfur where numbers of civilians have been killed by the RSF and its proxies, and hundred of thousands have fled attacks.

The delegation also raised the ongoing Ali Kushayb case with prosecutors.

The Darfur Association in the United Kingdom is dedicated to seeking justice and accountability for the victims of the Darfur atrocities. Through advocacy, collaboration, and community engagement, the association aims to bring perpetrators to justice and ensure a brighter future for the people of Darfur.
