Colombia needs our prayers 🇨🇴🙏!

A powerful 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia on Monday, August 10, leaving communities devastated by collapsed buildings, damaged homes, injuries, and loss of life. The earthquake was centered near San José del Palmar in Chocó and was felt across much of the country.

Pray for those who have lost loved ones.
Pray for the injured and those still awaiting rescue.
Pray for first responders, volunteers, and church leaders serving in this painful moment.

Together, we pray that the Church across Colombia will rise with compassion and courage—bringing comfort, practical help, and the hope of Jesus to those who need it most.

In a region where following Christ can require extraordinary courage, God is raising a new generation of leaders.

Twenty-five students from three different universities have completed ILI’s History Makers Module 1 training in Kano, Nigeria.

Amid ongoing persecution, religious pressure, and conflict in northern Nigeria, these young leaders are returning to their campuses equipped to disciple others, strengthen the Church, and boldly share the hope of Jesus.

Pray for Venezuela 🇻🇪 🙏

Our hearts are with the people of Venezuela following the back-to-back devastating earthquakes.

Please join us in praying for every family affected. Pray that God's protection would surround them, His peace would calm every heart, and His strength would sustain them in the days ahead.

Pray also for the local churches and Christian leaders who are already serving their communities with compassion, practical care, and the hope of Christ. May they be a light in the midst of uncertainty and a source of comfort to those who are hurting.

Happy Father’s Day! As we celebrate, we pause to honor and give thanks for the men who faithfully lead, serve, protect, nurture, and invest in their families.

Family is our first ministry.

Today, we celebrate fathers, grandfathers, spiritual fathers, mentors, and men of faith whose leadership has shaped generations. We honor those who have quietly demonstrated integrity, courage, compassion, and faithfulness day after day. Their influence often reaches farther than they may ever know.

To every man seeking to lead well: thank you. Thank you for choosing faithfulness over convenience, presence over distraction, and purpose over passivity. Your investment in your family matters. Your example matters. Your prayers matter. Your leadership matters!

In Japan, where evangelical Christians make up less than 1% of the population and many people have never read the Bible or attended a church service, one leader nearly missed an ILI History Makers training because of a severe snowstorm. Yet God had other plans.

"I almost did not attend an International Leadership Institute History Makers training event."

No circumstance can prevent God from accomplishing His purposes. From the very first session, it became clear that God had led me to this training. The Lord spoke to me with clarity and depth, confirming truths that I had long held but could not fully articulate through a Biblical framework. It felt as though God was gently and patiently filling in gaps I had not known existed, bringing greater understanding and alignment to my heart.

One of the most meaningful outcomes of the History Makers training was the realization that I was never truly alone. For years, I had felt a sense of isolation. I carried dreams and convictions that felt different from those around me, and at times that difference felt heavy.

During training, I was surrounded by Christian leaders and missionaries from across Japan, and I came to understand that I am part of a larger family, one united by a shared purpose: to see the Gospel advance throughout this nation. Throughout training, God provided practical guidance for how to move forward in obedience.

I am now planning to partner with several sisters in Christ in evangelistic efforts, trusting God to lead each step. I firmly believe this is only the beginning of what He intends to do. I am filled with hope and anticipation for the spiritual awakening God is preparing through His people.
