About TED? TED is a non profit organization devoted to Ideas worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment and Design. Along with two annual conferences -- the TED Conference in Long Beach and Palm Springs each spring, and the TEDGlobal conference in Edinburgh UK each summer -- TED includes the award-winning TEDTalks video site, the Open Translation Project and TED Conversations, the inspiring TED Fellows and TEDx programs, and the annual TED Prize.

تيد مؤسسة غير ربحية كرست لرسالة" أفكار تستحق الانتشار". بدأت (في عام 1984) بعقد مؤتمر يجمع بين الناس من ثلاثة مجالات : التكنولوجيا والترفيه والتصميم. ومنذ ذلك الحين أصبح النطاق أوسع من أي وقت مضى.
ويشمل تيد جنبا الي جنب اثنين من المؤتمرات السنوية-مؤتمر تيد في لونغ بيتش و بالم سبرينغز كل ربيع، ومؤتمر (تيد جلوبال) العالمي في أدنبيرج - المملكة المتحدة من كل صيف-ويشمل تيد ايضا علي موقع للفيديو يعرض محادثات تيد الحائزة علي جوائز، ومشروع الترجمة المفتوحة ومحادثات تيد، بالاضافة الي برامج زمالة تيد و برنامج تيد اكس ، وجائزة تيد السنوية.

About TEDx? TEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level. At TEDx events, a screening of TEDTalks videos -- or a combination of live presenters and TEDTalks videos -- sparks deep conversation and connections. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis.

حول تيد اكس؟
تيد اكس تم إنشاؤه تماشيا مع روح رسالة تيد 'أفكار تستحق الانتشار'. ويهدف البرنامج الي إتاحة الفرصة لتنشيط الحوار -علي غرار تجربة تيد- على الصعيد المحلي للمجتمعات المحلية، والمنظمات والأفراد.
في أحداث تيد اكس، يتم عرض فيديوهات محادثات تيد-أو مزيج من العروض الحية و فيديوهات محادثات تيد مما يؤدي الي تحفيز النقاش العميق والتواصل.
احداث تيد اكس يتم تخطيطها وتنسيقها كليا بشكل مستقل، بناءا علي قاعدة خدمة المجتمع من خلال المجتمع.
