HMSA is IFMSA's local chapter representing the students of the Faculty of Medicine, Capital University

HMSA was founded in 2017 with the mission to provide knowledge, skills, and opportunities to enhance and improve both the personality and the careers of rising physicians. Our fields of work include medical education, professional and research student exchanges, public health, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and human rights and peace. HMSA's work is supported by medical students with passion, interest, and training in its fields of work, and in the basic 21st century skills of capacity building, project management, publications, fundraising, and research.

من زمان، وإحنا بنسمع نصايح من اجدادنا عن وصفات بسيطة لكل حاجة تقريبًا, بس هل كل وصفة اتوارثناها فعلًا ليها تأثير مثبت علميًا؟ وهل كونها "طبيعية" معناه إنها دايمًا آمنة؟

في اخر الحلقة من سلسله Herbs in Medicine هنحط أشهر وصفات الطبيعيه ونشوف إيه اللي العلم أثبت إنه ممكن يساعد، وإيه اللي ممكن يكون مجرد معتقد شائع أو حتى يسبب ضرر لو استخدمناه بطريقة غلط.

لأن الطب مش ضد وصفات الطبيعيه… بس بيخلينا نعرف إمتى نستخدمها، وإمتى نوقف ونطلب المساعدة الطبية.

مش كل الحكايات بتبدأ بصوت أو مسرح… في حكايات بتبدأ بطفل فقد حاجة أساسية جدًا، لكنه قرر إن ده مش هيكون آخر الطريق
النهارده في عيادة المشاهير، بنحكي حكاية طه حسين، الطفل اللي فقد بصره في سن صغير، لكن فقدان البصر عمره ما منعه إنه يشوف أبعد من اللي حواليه
من الرمد الحبيبي وفقدان البصر، لرحلته مع التعليم والكتب، هنكتشف إزاي واجه التحديات، وإيه اللي كان ممكن يمنع المرض أو يقلل من مضاعفاته، ونعرف أكتر عن أعراض الرمد الحبيبي، تشخيصه، علاجه، وطرق الوقاية منه
يمكن عينيه ما شافتش الدنيا… لكن أفكاره خلت أجيال كاملة تشوفها بشكل مختلف

تفتكروا مين الشخصيه المشهوره اللي هنتكلم عليها النهارده؟
في كل مرة بنسمع فيها صوت العندليب، بنفتكر الأغاني والحب والذكريات… لكن قليل لما نفتكر إن ورا الصوت ده كانت فيه رحلة طويلة مع المرض.
عبد الحليم حافظ عاش سنين من حياته وهو بيحارب البلهارسيا ومضاعفاتها، وبين العلاج والسفر والمستشفيات، كان بيرجع كل مرة يقف قدام جمهوره ويغني كأن مفيش وجع.
في الحلقة دي من عيادة المشاهير، هنشوف عبد الحليم من زاوية مختلفة، وهنعرف حكاية مرضه، إزاي أثّر على جسمه، إيه المضاعفات اللي وصلتلها حالته، وإزاي كان ممكن الوقاية من المرض وعلاجه.
لأن أوقات، أعظم الحكايات مش اللي بنسمعها في الأغاني… لكن اللي أصحابها عاشوها في صمت

كل مشهور بنعرفه من صورته، صوته، أو أعماله… لكن ورا كل شخصية عظيمة حكاية تانية محدش بيشوفها
في عيادة المشاهير، بنقرب من حياة مشاهيرنا من زاوية مختلفة، ونكتشف الأمراض اللي واجهوها، الأعراض اللي عاشوا بيها، و رحلة علاجهم وكفاحهم معاها
و النهارده، موعدنا مع كوكب الشرق أم كلثوم
وراء النظارة السودة اللي بقت جزء من صورتها، كانت فيه رحلة مع مرض جريفز وتحديات أثرت على حياتها، لكنها عمرها ما سمحت للمرض إنه يوقف صوتها أو رحلتها الفنية
في البوست ده، هنحكي حكاية أم كلثوم مع المرض، ونعرف أكتر عن أعراضه، تشخيصه، طرق علاجه، وإزاي ممكن نكتشفه ونتعامل معا.
لأن ورا كل أسطورة… إنسانة كان عندها معركتها الخاصة
