For English, please scroll down بلدان، مبادرة بتحاول تزور بلدان مختلفه جوه وبره مصر عشان نكتشف ونتعرف على التراث المعمارى للأماكن دى ونتعلم طرق البنا التقليدية والشعبيه اللى اهالى الاماكن دى بيعشوا فيها من مئات السنين. فى زيارتنا دى بنبى فعلا بأيدينا مع اهالى المكان بالطريقة التقليدية والخامات المحلية بتاعتهم. سواء كان البنا ده بالحجارة او الكرشيف او بالطينه او اى خامه تانية محلية أهالى المكان بيع
يشوا جواها.بلدان بتحاول توثق التراث المعمارى الشعبي للاماكن دى خلال زيارتها مش بس باننا نصور ونكتب عن المبانى الحلوة دى ولكن كمان بتوثيق ومعايشة عملية البنا نفسها وكمان المشاركة المجتمعية اللى بتحصل فى المكان خلال عملية البنا. بلدان بتحاول تخلينا نكتشف طرق جديدة بس قديمة وبسيطه للبنا وللحياة. بالإضافة، بلدان بتشتغل على تجميع وتشبيك الأنشطة والأشخاص اللى بيشتغلوا او مهتمين بمجال التراث المعمارى والعمارة البيئية كمان نحب نقولكم ان بلدان مبادرة بدأت ومازالت بتعيش فى مؤسسة مساحةBoldan is an Arabic word that means countries or locales. Boldan, is an initiative to visit different places on Earth to discover their architectural heritage and their traditional ways of building that they lived in for hundreds of years. In our visits to those different places, we actually build with our hands under the guidance of the local inhabitants with their traditional building techniques and local raw materials. Those materials could be stones, Karshef, clay, mud bricks or any other local material. In Boldan we aim at documenting the tangible and intangible aspects of the architectural, vernacular heritage of those places not only by taking pictures or writing about those beautiful buildings but also by experiencing the whole local building process by ourselves. And by observing the community interaction together during the building process. Boldan is trying to create new, but old and simple ways of building and living in remote communities that are inspired from their own heritage. In addition to that, Boldan works as a platform that connects people and initiatives working in the field of architectural heritage and environmental buildings.
