Wonderful creations begin with the passion of ideas. We have developed a groundwork we wish to burgeon and weave into the Maadi community, and hopefully, the greater area of Cairo. The Maadi Community Theatre will commence in December 2015 with its inaugural Audition Call. We hope to create a theatre society that will capture the attention, and also earn the dedication and support from our communi

ty, as this company will reflect the quality and potential within Maadi. There will be one main cause that we will be charitably donating to. The Fard Foundation has been doing excellent work over the years helping refugees in need. Given the current global climate they have been focusing on the Syrian Refugee Crisis.

The Show is in Cairo American College's wonderful theater. We use the Maintenance Entrance for the show. Tickets will be sold and taken at the gate.

Hello everyone! First of all, sorry for the "radio silence" these last few months. We are in the process of writing the show, and we are really excited about it!

Key updates: Trials for the show will be held after the holidays. For Adults (Grade 9 and up) we will have trials on Friday, January 18. Sign-ups for that will be posted in early January. For Younger types (8th grade and under), we will have trials on Saturday, January 19.

The show will run in late May.

We can't wait to get started. Have a great holiday and we will see you all in January.

Hello Maadi Community Theatre folks! We are all here having our first MCT meeting of the Season. We hope everyone had an amazing summer. I know that Erik, Ashley and I spent much of the summer hanging out in the Pacific Northwest, Erik and Ashley met up with Oliver to see some Shakespeare productions in Ashland at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. We all made it back and are gearing up for MCT Season 4! This year, our show will run in May, with preliminary auditions coming sometime in early December. There is a lot of work to do, and we are so excited to get things going again.
