The British Council in Egypt with Etijah acting as a local civil society partner, both aim at promoting advocacy and awareness of global and local issues , to mobilize youth to make a difference in their community. This section of Egyptian society is traditionally particularly marginalized in Egypt’s civil society. Empowering this group will have significant, long-term implications for Egypt’s fut

ure. This group of young boys and girls are tomorrow’s men and women, who will be the largest population cohort in Egypt’s history to enter the ‘adult’ and ‘professional’ phase of life to finally draw Egypt’s future. Through this campaign, volunteers come from across 5 governorates and share their ideas and experiences and most importantly learn the significance of No’tit maya; that a single drop matters and that an individual action counts, yet collective action is more effective. Finally to raise and develop their awareness and spread new manners within their communities dealing with water, to appreciate its value and make a positive behavioral change.

هذة المجموعة من المجتمع المصري عادة مهمشة وخاصة في المجتمع المدني في مصر. تمكين هذه المجموعة لها آثار كبيرة وطويلة الأجل لمستقبل مصر. حيث أن هذه مجموعة من الفتيان والفتيات هم رجال ونساء الغد، و الذي سيكون أكبر تجمع من السكان يتواجد في تاريخ مصر للدخول في مرحلة 'النضوج' و 'المهنية' من الحياة لرسم مستقبل مصر.

هذه الحملة، يأتي المتطوعون من جميع أنحاء الخمس محافظات لتبادل الأفكار والخبرات والتعلم و الأهم من ذلك ادراك أهمية من خلال نقطة المياه أن النقطة الواحدة تعنى كثير وأن كل عمل فردي يحسب، ولكن العمل الجماعي هو أكثر فعالية. أخيرا لرفع وتطوير وعيهم ونشر أخلاق جديدة داخل مجتمعاتهم أثناء تعامل مع المياه، لتقدير قيمتها وإجراء تغيير سلوكي إيجابي.
