Rotaract Club of El Tahrir

We are a group of young people between 18-30. Our Club was founded in 2004 Rotaract is a Rotary-Partner service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30.

Rotaract clubs are either community or university based, and they are sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes them true "partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary. As one of Rotary’s most significant and fastest-growing service programs, with more than 7,000 clubs in about 163 countries and geographical areas, Rotaract has become a worldwide phenomenon.

Rotaract Club of Tahrir was pleased to participate in the Bridges to Unite (B2U) workshop, hosted by Rotary Giza Al-Said Club, in collaboration with the Personal Development Committee, and led by Dr. Maged Zekry, with the participation of several Rotary Clubs, fostering an enriching exchange of ideas and experiences.

We’re excited to announce the reactivation of our (RCC) through a new collaboration and protocol between Rotary Club Of ElTahrir, Rotaract El Tahrir, and Dar Al-Hana Orphanage.

Led by PP Dr. Nesrine Refaat, this project aims to support Dar Al-Hana and strengthen the community impact of our Rotary family.🙏

Rotaract El Tahrir was honored to attend Rotary El Tahrir’s special ceremony honoring Dr. Hala El Said, Advisor to the President for Economic Development and former Minister of Planning, who was granted honorary membership at the club.

The event took place in the presence of Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity, Dr. Hossam Farahat, District Governor, and several distinguished guests. It was held as part of Economic Development Month, reflecting Rotary’s commitment to advancing sustainable growth and community empowerment.

During the session, Dr. Hala El Said shared valuable insights on Egypt’s economic landscape, the role of the private sector, and the importance of investing in people as a foundation for long-term development.

Rotaract El Tahrir was delighted to take part in the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) alongside more than 30 Rotaract clubs from across District 2451.

Our club was proudly represented by Ahmed Shaker who joined the 3 day event at Porto Marina, which was filled with inspiring sessions on leadership, motivation, and personal growth, including talks by DG Hossam Farahat, PDG Sherif Waly, Rtn. Amr Nada, PP Amal Salem, and many more.

Special thanks to all the Rotarians and organizers who made this experience both impactful and unforgettable.
