- Encouraging intentional access to education, targeted funding, and global mentorship networks. Overcoming gender gaps in these fields not only advances women's economic independence but is also critical for solving global climate and sustainability challenges.
- Inspire Mentorship & Professional Networking: Encourage Women in Tech and align women creative solutions to realize UNESCO Initiatives. Launching a mentorship programs to connect girls directly with female STEM professionals.

IEEE WIE Egypt in Cooperation with IEEE Systems Council Egypt Chapter organized a panel discussion on Advancing the Role of Women in Responsible AI Systems.

We would like to welcome our esteemed invited speakers:

IEEE Slovenia Vice-Chair, University of Maribor, Solvenia.
“Prof. Rasha Morsi”
Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality, Norfolk University, USA

The incredible session empowers women in stepping into critical roles in building AI frameworks that emphasize transparency, accountability, and fairness. Fostering women leadership to ensure that AI systems are promoting inclusivity while addressing concerns about bias and misuse.

This WIE workshop will have a great impact and influence to gender equity in AI, creating opportunities for diverse perspectives in shaping the future of intelligent systems. Realizing IEEE Women Egypt vision in Fostering Women Leaders Role Models in Various Sectors, who have great community impact and realizing diversity, equity and women support.

👩 We would like to welcome our esteemed Speaker “Dr. Marwa Hafez”
She explores how advancing women skills supports her positive impact to community. Passion and persistence were the key success pillars.
Prof. Sherin Youssef - the Chair of IEEE WIE Egypt Section - welcomed greatly welcomed Dr. Marwa Hafez and explored her prominent role in supporting community services. Marwa is one of the remarkable women leaders in maritime sector. She was elected as the President of the National Egyptian chapter of the Arab Women Working in the Maritime Sector Association, affiliated with the International Maritime Organization. She is a Master's postgraduate in Economics, Political Science, and National Security at Nasser Higher Military Academy. She is the Media Coordinator for the Maritime Transport and Logistics Sector.
