The six sides of the hexagon refer to the six disciplines of concern. These disciplines are Chemistry, Medicine, Molecular bio-sciences, Nanotechnology, Environmental sciences and Engineering. We believe that, through knowledge and experience exchange between different disciplines, various solutions can be created for the encountered problems and unleashing a limitless potential of collaboration.
From this union comes the word Nexus referring the common ground or round table from which we are all gathered around cooperating in innovative and feasible solutions. HexaNexus symbol is the hexagon since; it is the most common shape in all disciplines. If you look around you can find it in nature (e.g. honey comb and plant cells), chemical structures (e.g. hepatic cells) and molecular bio-sciences (e.g. DNA nitrogenous bases) etc. It refers to the solution that only can be created by looking from different prospective to the same problem.
