YWCA seeks to provide opportunities for personal growth, developing leadership qualities, deepening concern for human needs and acting responsibly in the community. YWCA Activities:
1- Hope Center for Children with Special Needs:
*The Center provides health care, schooling and recreational activities, led by well trained staff members & Volunteers.
*The Center Enables mothers to better cope with their Children's conditions.
2- Shoubra Branch:
- Vocational Training : Arranges Literacy Classes
- Children's Library : Helps children aged 7-11 to make good use of their recreation & summer time.
- Mother & Child Care
3-YWCA Hostel:
Friendly and loving atmosphere, equipped with: comfortable bedrooms, library, lounges, photocopying and computer facilities,telephones & internet services,
- Provides a full board accommodation for university students families live away from Cairo.
- Provides comfortable accommodation for transitory guests.
4- Meals :
Meals Project stated in 2001 , to provide a ready or semi-ready meals for working women & elderly and sick.
