HMUN is a leadership preparation program simulating UN organization. it’s an “ organization by students for students “ which means that the members ( who are students ) are responsible to design a program for the students who will apply as delegates to attend the preparation sessions which will make them more aware by their topic and able to sit in the final conference which will simulate the United Nations conferences, after get trainings in public speaking, research skills, debating and how to write resolution paper. Each student will sit as a representative of a country to discuss the topic and try to solve it from his/her country’s point of view after doing research on it.

Secretariat
The secretariat is the main team of the model, which is divided into:
Human Resources committee
Coordination/Logistics committee
Public Relations/Marketing team
Social Media team
Graphic Design team
Photography/Videography team
Project Management committee
Academic committee.
General Assembly
The General Assembly is the main deliberative, policy making and representative organ of the UN. All 193 Member States of the UN are represented in the General Assembly, making it the only UN body with universal representation.
The General Assembly is one of our Academic councils, where the students (Delegates) will be able to attend the sessions of this council to know more about what is going on this department and be farther aware about their main topics, and the material of the sessions will be prepared and discussed by our academic committee’s members. and at the end of the course there will be a closing conference simulating the General Assembly forum.
Security Council
The Security Council has primary responsibility, under the UN Charter, for the maintenance of international peace and security. It has 15 Members (5 permanent and 10 non-permanent members). Each Member has one vote. Under the Charter, all Member States are obligated to comply with Council decisions.
The Security Council is one of our academic councils, where the students (Delegates) will take the places of delegates of the most powerful countries in the world, with the aim of finding different solutions to bring peace back to the world.
N.T. the delegates of this council will attend the academic course and will have their own simulation conference same like all the other councils.
International Court of Justice
The International Court of Justice is the principal judicial organ of the United Nations. Its seat is at the Peace Palace in the Hague (Netherlands). It is the only one of the six principal organs of the United Nations not located in New York (United States of America).
The ICJ will be exclusive for the Law Students, Because their course will be different from the other councils, where the delegates will attend the sessions to raise their legal skills and the course will be ended by a moot court.
Economic and Social Council
The Economic and Social Council is the principal body for coordination, policy review, policy dialogue and recommendations on economic, social and environmental issues, as well as implementation of internationally agreed development goals.
The delegates who will join the ECOSOC will get a great chance to know more about the developments projects in Egypt and about the Sustainable Development Goals.
