تم ترشيح الكاتبة رانية حسين أمين لجائزة هانس كريستيان أندرسن، وهي واحدة من أرقى الجوائز الأدبية العالمية في أدب الأطفال.

تُمنح هذه الجائزة المرموقة كل عامين من قبل المجلس العالمي لكتب الشباب في بازل، سويسرا، لتكريم أفضل كاتب وروائي في أدب الأطفال، إلى جانب أفضل رسام لقصص الأطفال. تأسست الجائزة عام 1956، وتمت إضافة فئة الرسم عام 1966.

تحمل الجائزة اسم الكاتب الدنماركي الشهير هانس كريستيان أندرسن، المعروف بإبداعه في أدب الأطفال، وغالبًا ما يُشار إليها بـ “جائزة نوبل لأدب الأطفال”.

Author Rania Hussein Amin has been nominated for the Hans Christian Andersen Award, one of the most prestigious international literary awards in children’s literature.

This award is presented every two years by the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) in Basel, Switzerland, to honor the best children’s writer and novelist, as well as the best illustrator for children’s books. The award was established in 1956, with the illustration category introduced in 1966.

Named after the renowned Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen, celebrated for his contributions to children’s literature, the award is often referred to as the “Nobel Prize for Children’s Literature”.
