In the chaos of war, gender-based violence becomes a cruel weapon, used to silence, wound, and break those already suffering.

We must not turn a blind eye to the horrors survivors endure; by acknowledging their pain, we remind them they are not alone in their fight for justice and healing.

العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي ملوش مبررات بس ساعات كتير أوي بنلاقي الناس اللي حوالينا بيبرروا العنف.
مجرد التبرير ده بيساعد على استمرار العنف. وبالتالي اللي بيبرر بيبقى زيه زي المعنِّف هو مشارك في وجود العنف و استمراره.
ده نداء لينا كلنا إننا نوقف ترديد الجمل اللي بتبرر العنف.

Gender-based violence has no justifications. Yet, all too often, we hear people around us trying to justify it.
This mere justification helps the violence continue. Thus the one who justifies it, just like the abuser, is a participant in the existence and continuation of violence.
This is a call to all of us to stop repeating phrases that justify violence.

It is estimated that over 1 billion people worldwide have a disability. That number is really huge . In fact, it’s about 15 percent of the entire world population. Have you wondered if this significant population is recognised or at least celebrated in some way? Interestingly, every year, the 3rd of December has been selected as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

The date is set out to advocate for promoting the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities. In addition, several activities that mark the day include creating awareness of the political, economic, social, and cultural aspects of disability that affect people around the world.
