STEM Active Learning - Diving Promoting STEM Active Learning through scuba diving

Blending lifelong learning with recreational sports and citizen science activities, STEM Active Learning - Diving offers scuba diving educational modules that aim to:
- Engage students in scientific and environmental literacy, sustainability, and citizen science
- Promote awareness and appreciation of the ecosystems of the planet
- Help preserve the unique coral reefs and marine life in the stude

nts' local area. The program enriches university academic offerings with a touch of eco-tourism and promotes environmental awareness and activism among the community. Diving courses are standardized internationally by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) and are accredited for college credit by the American Council on Education.
