La 23e édition du Marché International du Cinéma et de l’Audiovisuel Africains (MICA) se tiendra du 28 février au 05 mars 2027 à Ouagadougou. Maillon essentiel du FESPACO PRO, le MICA met en relation les professionnels de toute la chaîne de valeur du cinéma et de l’audiovisuel : plateformes de diffusion, producteurs, festivals, écoles, programmateurs et distributeurs.

Véritable espace d’échanges et d’opportunités, il vise à dynamiser les collaborations selon les nouveaux modèles économiques du secteur. Le MICA 2027 proposera notamment des stands promotionnels, l’inscription au catalogue officiel, des projections à la carte ainsi que des rencontres B to B entre acteurs de l’industrie.

𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐓𝐎 𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐀 – 𝐅𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐎 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕

The 23rd edition of the International Market of African Cinema and Audiovisual (MICA) will take place from February 28 to March 5, 2027, in Ouagadougou. As a key component of FESPACO PRO, MICA connects professionals across the entire film and audiovisual value chain, including streaming platforms, producers, festivals, film schools, programmers, and distributors.

As a dynamic hub for exchange and business opportunities, it aims to foster collaboration in line with the evolving economic models of the industry. MICA 2027 will feature promotional stands, registration in the official catalogue, on-demand screenings, and B2B meetings between industry stakeholders.

بصفتي عضوة في لجنة التحكيم الدولية المستقلة، وبالنيابة عن زملائي وزميلاتي، شرفت اليوم في مقر يونسكو في باريس بالإعلان الرسمي عن منح جائزة حرية الإعلام الدولية لعام 2026 لكيانٍ آمن أن الكلمة هي الحصن الأخير ضد النسيان: نقابة الصحفيين السودانيين.
الصحفيون/ات السودانيون يطاردون الحقيقة وسط تعتيم الاتصالات، ويوثقون "الإبادة الجماعية" بصدورٍ عارية، ويرفضون أن تُمحى خارطة بلادهم من ذاكرة الضمير العالمي.
وثّقوا ما عجز العالم عن رؤيته:
المجاعة والانتهاكات، من "الفاشر" التي تقتات على الصبر، إلى توثيق العنف الممنهج ضد النساء. كشفوا كيف يمول الذهب والمعادن صرخات الضحايا، وكيف تتحول الأرض لساحة صراعٍ دولي.
هذه الجائزة ليست مجرد تكريم، بل هي اعترافٌ بأن تضحيات الصحفيين/ات السودانيين —في الداخل والمنفى— هي التي تمنع مواراتنا للحقيقة خلف غبار المعارك. شكرًا لليونسكو ولزملائي في اللجنة على هذه الأمانة.
الحقيقة لا تسقط بالتقادم، وصوت السودان سيظل مسموعاً.

The Sudanese Filmmaking Association extend its appreciation to the outstanding journey of cinephile kid / Median, who made a huge efforts to learn and develop since 2016 till this pivotal Moment in 2026. Marking today a 10 years of harsh development in videography and content creation in a vast forms of audio visual production that targets the human dignity of Sudanese people . Median Hassouna is finally awarded a fellow member upgraded from Associate member (Videographer/Reporter) to Fellow Member (Videographer/Filmmaker) we shift the congratulations from Median to His Idol Mr. Mosaab Hassouna the man behind this kid now a gentleman filmmaker and a phenomena in the film and tv productions with mosaab's initiative of educating children the essentials of filmmaking paying off this success story.

We are proud of you Median as a role model of young and talented filmmakers that serves thier community using thier vision for humanity mission.
