Technovation Girls Egypt, Cairo (2026)

Our mission is to inspire girls to be leaders and problem-solvers in their lives and their communities and build a local community to achieve this. Through Technovation, girls ages 10 to 18 learn how identify a problem in their community and develop a mobile app to solve it. Technovation was featured in the documentary Codegirl made by award-winning filmmaker Lesley Chilcott (who also did An Inconvenient Truth and Waiting for Superman).

في خطوة تهدف إلى نشر الوعي بفرص الفتيات في مجال التكنولوجيا والابتكار تم تنظيم ندوة تعريفية عن مسابقة Technovation Girls داخل مدرسة السيدة زينب الثانوية بنات بمحافظة قنا.
وقامت بتنظيم وتقديم الندوة
السفيرة: سارة أحمد نبيل
حيث استهدفت الندوة تعريف الطالبات بالمسابقة العالمية Technovation Girls تقدمه منظمة Technovation ، التي تمنح الفتيات من سن 8 إلى 18 عامًا فرصة لتعلم البرمجة وريادة الأعمال والعمل في فرق لتطوير تطبيقات تكنولوجية تعالج مشكلات حقيقية في مجتمعاتهن.
كما تشرفنا بحضور
الأستاذ: أشرف سعد مدير إدارة قنا التعليمية بمحافظة قنا، الذي أكد خلال الندوة أهمية دعم الفتيات وتمكينهن من اكتساب مهارات المستقبل، وتشجيعهن على المشاركة في المبادرات والمسابقات التي تنمي مهارات التفكير الابتكاري والعمل الجماعي.
وشهدت الندوة تفاعلًا من الطالبات واهتمامًا كبيرًا بالتعرف على خطوات المشاركة في المسابقة، مما يعكس الحماس لدى فتيات محافظة قنا لدخول مجالات التكنولوجيا وصناعة حلول حقيقية تخدم المجتمع.

In a step to raise awareness about opportunities for girls in technology and innovation, an introductory seminar about Technovation Girls was held at El-Sayeda Zeinab Secondary School for Girls in Qena Governorate, Egypt.
The seminar was organized and presented
by Ambassador: Sara Ahmed Nabil, aiming to introduce students to the global Technovation Girls program presented by the organization Technovation , which gives girls aged 8–18 the chance to learn programming and entrepreneurship while working in teams to develop technological solutions for real problems in their communities.
We were also honored by the presence of Mr. Ashraf Saad, Director of Qena Educational Administration, who highlighted the importance of supporting and empowering girls to acquire future skills and encouraging them to participate in initiatives and competitions that develop innovation, leadership, and teamwork.
The seminar witnessed strong engagement from the students and great interest in learning how to participate in the competition, reflecting the growing enthusiasm of girls in Qena to enter technology fields and create solutions that positively impact their communities.
