From Cairo to Switzerland… a journey powered by purpose 🌍✨

Meet Nour Bahgat — a young changemaker who turned passion into impact.

Her story began with the Climatic Peace Climate Action & DRR Fellowship in Egypt, where she took her first steps toward driving real change. With determination and vision, Nour and her team rose to the top — a moment of triumph that marked the beginning of something bigger.

But that was just the start.

Through Climatic Peace’s continuous support, Nour expanded her journey:
From the UNDP–ITIDA Twin Transition Ideation Bootcamp,
to the MENA Hackathon,
building, learning, and leading every step of the way.

And then… the world stage.

From the streets of Cairo to St. Gallen, Switzerland, Nour carried her idea across borders — confidently presenting at the prestigious START Hack event, representing not just herself, but a generation of youth driving climate action forward.

This is what Climatic Peace is about.

A New International Milestone for Climate Peace

Climate Peace is proud to announce that its Founder,
Dr. Ahmed Salem, has been awarded the Safir Award: Mediterranean of Solidarity, presented by the SAFIR Program of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

This prestigious award recognizes outstanding youth leaders from the Mediterranean region for their impactful contributions to climate action, youth empowerment, and community-led sustainable development.

Dr. Ahmed Salem selection reflects Climate Peace growing international presence and its commitment to creating meaningful cross-border climate impact
