الشباب الدنماركي والمصري بيجمعهم نفس الحلم: مستقبل مستدام، يعمل بابتكار، وفي سلام أكتر.
من خلال الحوار، والابتكار في التصميم المستدام، والعمل البيئي، "المبادرة الدنماركية المصرية للحوار" بتثبت إن الأحلام المشتركة تقدر تتحول لحلول حقيقية على الأرض.
في اليوم العالمي للشباب، شعار السنة دي هو "حياة مختلفة، أحلام مشتركة"، وده بالظبط هو الأساس اللي قامت عليه المبادرة الدنماركية المصرية للحوار.

Danish and Egyptian youth share the same aspiration: a sustainable, innovative, and more peaceful future.
Through dialogue, design, and climate action, DEDI proves that common aspirations can become common solutions.
This , the theme is "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations," and it's at the heart of what DEDI was built for.

المبادرة الدنماركية المصرية للحوار (2025–2028) هي بمثابة "مختبر حيّ" ينفّذه برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي في مصر، بالتعاون مع وزارة الخارجية الدنماركية، يهدف إلى دعم الابتكار بقيادة الشباب وتعزيز مسار التحوّل الأخضر. وقد صُمّمت المبادرة لمعالجة تحديات المستقبل واغتنام فرصه، كما تُعدّ مساحة عابرة للثقافات للحوار حول المناخ والسلام والأمن بين الدنمارك ومصر.

The Danish-Egyptian Dialogue Initiative (DEDI) (2025-2028) is a living laboratory, implemented by UNDP Egypt in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, for youth-driven innovation and the green transition, designed to address the challenges and opportunities of the future, and a cross-cultural space for dialogue on climate, peace and security between Denmark and Egypt.

المشاركين في تحدي "سYouth" خلصوا التدريب المكثف، ودلوقتي رسميًا جاهزين لمرحلة الإنتاج!

🌡️اليوم الأول: علم تغير المناخ، التركيز على مصر، مناقشة عن الحر، الأكل، المخلّفات البيئة، المياه، والمجتمعات اللي حاسة بتغير المناخ أكتر من غيرها.
🤳اليوم التاني: فن الحكي، البداية اللي تشد الانتباه، بناء القصة، التصوير بالموبايل، والسرد الأخلاقي.

الخطوة الجاية: تحويل الواقع البيئي الحقيقي لقصص محلية.

"سYouth" هو تحدّي حكايات من الشباب وللشباب حول ظاهرة التغير المناخي والحلول المرتبطة بها، مع إبراز تأثيراتها على الحياة اليومية والمجتمعات المحلية.

يُنظَّم التحدّي بالشراكة مع مراكز إبداع مصر الرقمية "كريتيفا" ومركز الابداع التكنولوجي وريادة الأعمال (TIEC) بهيئة تنمية صناعة تكنولوجيا المعلومات (ITIDA)، وذلك في إطار المبادرة الدنماركية‑المصرية للحوار (DEDI)، التي ينفّذها برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي في مصر بالتعاون مع وزارة الخارجية الدنماركية.

Our " " Digital Storytelling Challenge participants just wrapped their in-depth training, and they're officially ready for production!

🌡️Day 1: the science of climate change, then zooming into Egypt, heat, food, waste, water, and the communities feeling it most.
🤳Day 2: the craft of storytelling, hooks, structure, filming with just a phone, and the ethics of telling someone else's story right.

Next up: turning real environmental realities into local stories.

"Youthس” is a storytelling challenge inviting young people to showcase how climate change appears in their everyday lives and the possible solutions they see in their surrounding communities.

The "Youthس" challenge is in collaboration with CREATIVA Innovation Hubs, the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and the Technology Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) and is part of the Danish‑Egyptian Dialogue Initiative (DEDI), which is implemented by UNDP Egypt in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

The winners of “Bilingual: Reimagining Furniture Design in Egypt & Denmark” - Team 2650 BC, Team NOMAD, Team ANKH-ET, and Team MA’AT.
Drawing from heritage, craftsmanship, materials, and innovation, each team brings a distinct perspective to the challenge ahead.
Over the coming months, the teams will collaborate with designers, architects, craftsmen, and sustainability experts across Cairo and Copenhagen, developing their concepts through a cross-cultural design journey before seeing them manufactured in Damietta and showcased in a public exhibition.
“Bilingual: Reimagining Furniture Design in Egypt & Denmark” is an activity by the Danish-Egyptian Dialogue Initiative (DEDI) in partnership with the Royal Danish Academy, DESiGNDUSTRY and Pinocchio Furniture factory. DEDI is implemented by UNDP Egypt and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
