اليوم الثاني من مؤتمر OOC11

بكل اعتزاز وفخر، بنشارككم لقطات حية وصور بتوصلنا تِباعاً من مدينة ممباسا الكينية، حيث تتواجد ابنة الجمعية وعضو الجمعية العمومية المتميزة، السيدة لبنى، لتمثيل مصر والجمعية في واحد من أكبر المحافل البيئية والاقتصادية عالمياً: مؤتمر "محيطنا" الدولي الحادي عشر (Our Ocean Conference - OOC11) سعيدين بتغطية.

🌍 ما هو مؤتمر "محيطنا" الدولي؟

هذا المؤتمر ليس مجرد حدث عادي، بل هو قمة دولية رفيعة المستوى تجمع قادة العالم، والوزراء، والمنظمات الأممية، وخبراء البيئة والاقتصاد الأزرق من مختلف القارات، بهدف حماية المحيطات وتطوير مصايد الأسماك المستدامة. وفوق كل هذا... انفردت جمعيتنا هذا العام بشرف تمثيل جمهورية مصر العربية ومنطقة شمال إفريقيا بأكملها في هذا الحدث التاريخي!

Above all, our Association holds the unique honor this year of solely representing the Arab Republic of Egypt and the entire North African region at this historic event! 👑

انطلاق فعاليات مؤتمر المحيطات الحادي عشر (OOC11) في مدينة مومباسا بكينيا! 🌍🌊

فخورون بمشاركة فرع الشبكة في مصر (الشبكة المصرية للسيدات العاملات في تصنيع وتجارة الأسماك) ضمن جناح AWFISHNET المشترك بالمعرض المصاحب للمؤتمر.
وقد مثلتنا في هذه المشاركة المتميزة السيدة لبنى ، لاستعراض جهود رائدات الأعمال المصريات ومنتجاتهن المبتكرة في قطاع تصنيع الأسماك، وإبراز دور مصر الفاعل في تعزيز التمكين الاقتصادي للمرأة وتحقيق الاستدامة في قطاع الاقتصاد الأزرق بأفريقيا.

The 11th Our Ocean Conference (OOC11) has officially kicked off in Mombasa, Kenya! 🌍🌊

We are immensely proud of the participation of our national chapter, the Egyptian Association for Women in Fish Processing and Trade, within the joint AWFISHNET pavilion at the conference exhibition.
Egypt is honorably represented by Mrs. Lubna, who is showcasing the incredible efforts and innovative products of Egyptian women entrepreneurs in the fish processing sector. يسر شبكة النساء الإفريقيات العاملات في قطاع الأسماك والتجارة (AWFISHNET) أن تعلن عن مشاركتها في المؤتمر الحادي عشر للمحيطات (Our Ocean Conference 2026)، والذي سيُعقد في مومباسا، كينيا خلال الفترة من 16 إلى 18 يونيو 2026.

يمثل هذا الحدث منصة عالمية تجمع صناع القرار والخبراء والشركاء لمناقشة مستقبل المحيطات والاقتصاد الأزرق والإدارة المستدامة للموارد البحرية.

وتتطلع الشبكة إلى المساهمة في النقاشات وتعزيز صوت المرأة الإفريقية العاملة في قطاع المصايد وسلاسل القيمة السمكية على المستوى الدولي.

The African Women Fish Processors and Traders Network (AWFISHNET) is pleased to announce its participation in the 11th Our Ocean Conference (OOC11), which will take place in Mombasa, Kenya, from 16–18 June 2026.

This global event brings together leaders, experts, policymakers, and stakeholders to advance discussions on ocean sustainability, the blue economy, and the sustainable management of marine resources.

AWFISHNET looks forward to contributing to these important conversations while amplifying the voices of African women engaged in fisheries and fish value chains across the continent.

At AWFISHNET Egypt, we take immense pride in our distinguished board member, Ms. Hanan Atef, as she continues her inspiring journey of supporting and empowering women in the fish processing sector. 🌟
Building on several specialized training programs she previously completed in collaboration with WorldFish, she now plays an active and vital role in training other women to process fish products using healthy and safe methods. Furthermore, she works dedicatedly to raise community awareness about the importance of fish products and their nutritional benefits.
This specialized training equips women with practical skills that enable them to boost their income and improve their families' standard of living, ultimately driving women's economic empowerment within society. 💙🐟
We firmly believe that transferring expertise and knowledge is a tangible step toward achieving women's empowerment and sustainable development.
Our deepest appreciation goes to Ms. Hanan and to every woman striving to create a positive impact in her community.

نفخر في AWFISHNET مصر بعضوتنا المميزة “مدام حنان عاطف ” عضو مجلس الإدارة، والتي تواصل رحلتها الملهمة في دعم وتمكين السيدات في مجال التصنيع السمكي 🌟

بعد حصولها على عدة تدريبات متخصصة سابقة بالتعاون مع WorldFish، أصبحت اليوم تقوم بدور فعّال في تدريب السيدات الأخريات على تصنيع منتجات الأسماك بطرق صحية وآمنة، إلى جانب نشر الوعي بأهمية المنتجات السمكية وفوائدها الغذائية داخل المجتمع.

كما يساهم هذا النوع من التدريب في مساعدة السيدات على اكتساب مهارات عملية تُمكنهن من زيادة دخلهن وتحسين مستوى المعيشة لأسرهن، بما يدعم التمكين الاقتصادي للمرأة داخل المجتمع 💙🐟

AWFISHNET Egypt Welcomes Network President Ms. Lovin in an Inspiring Visit to Sharqia✨

📍 The AWFISHNET Egypt chapter was delighted to host the Network’s President, Ms. Lovin, on a friendly visit to the Faqus District, Sharqia Governorate. The encounter was filled with warmth, connection, and a fruitful exchange of experiences.

To get closer to the team, one of our board members warmly welcomed President Lovin into her home. The visit was marked by friendly conversations that mirrored the network's values of openness and collaboration.

📝 The agenda covered extensive talks on the network's status in Egypt and the upcoming steps needed to finalize its official gazette registration, alongside strategies to boost and empower its role in the next phase.

🐙Highlighting the event, some of our women board members showcased the fish products featured in their retail shops and shared their real-world business journeys.
The Network President was highly impressed by their work and recommended future exchange visits with sister networks across Africa to swap expertise and unlock new opportunities for collaboration.

Concluding this memorable visit, we express our deepest thanks to our board members for their incredible hospitality. This visit undoubtedly marks a significant milestone in empowering AWFISHNET's journey and impact in Egypt.🤍

✨تشرف فرع AWFISHNET في مصر باستقبال رئيسة الشبكة السيدة لوڤين، وذلك في زيارة ودّية إلى محافظة الشرقية – مركز فاقوس، حيث ساد اللقاء أجواء من الود والتعارف وتبادل الخبرات بين الجانبين.

📍حيث استقبلت إحدى عضوات مجلس الإدارة الرئيسة لوڤين في منزلها، في إطار زيارة وديّة هدفت إلى التعرف عن قرب على أعضاء المجلس، وتبادل الأحاديث الودية التي عكست روح التعاون والانفتاح.

📝 وقد تناولت الزيارة نقاشات موسّعة حول وضع الشبكة في مصر، وما تحتاجه من خطوات واستكمالات لإستكمال عملية الإشهار بشكل رسمي، إلى جانب بحث سبل دعم وتعزيز دورها خلال المرحلة المقبلة.

🐙 وخلال اللقاء، قامت بعض سيدات أعضاء مجلس الإدارة بعرض مجموعة من المنتجات السمكية المتداولة في محلاتهن التجارية، واستعراض تجاربهن العملية في هذا المجال، وهو ما لاقى إعجابًا كبيرًا من رئيسة الشبكة التي أبدت انبهارها بالمنتجات المعروضة، ودعت إلى زيارات تبادلية مستقبلية مع الشبكات الأخرى في الدول الأفريقية بهدف تبادل الخبرات وتوسيع آفاق العمل المشترك.

وفي ختام الزيارة، نتقدم بخالص الشكر والتقدير إلى السيدات أعضاء مجلس الإدارة على حسن الاستقبال وكرم الضيافة، مع التأكيد على أهمية هذه الزيارة في دعم مسار
