Refugees Voice on climate Change

Today, Monday 9/3/2026, Aspire-Ment Academy hosted the first session of the Climate Change Workshop for adolescents aged 10–15 years. 🌍
The session was delivered by the teams of YSVO and Refugees Voice on Climate Change (RVCC), who provided an engaging and informative workshop that introduced the participants to the concept of climate change, its impact on our world, and the importance of protecting our environment.

We were delighted to see a great number of teenagers attending and actively participating, showing curiosity and enthusiasm while learning about environmental responsibility. The session was truly fruitful and inspiring, encouraging the young participants to think about how they can contribute to a more sustainable future. 🌱

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Youth Support Volunteer Organization (YSVO NGO) and Refugees Voice on climate Change (RVCC) for delivering this valuable session and for their collaboration with Aspire-Ment Academy in raising awareness among the younger generation. We look forward to more impactful sessions together. ✨

اليوم الاثنين 9/3/2026 استضافت أكاديمية Aspire-Ment الجلسة الأولى من ورشة عمل التغير المناخي للمشاركين من الفئة العمرية 10–15 سنة. 🌍
تم تقديم الجلسة بواسطة فريقي YSVO و Refugees Voice on Climate Change (RVCC)، حيث قدموا ورشة تفاعلية ومفيدة عرّفت المشاركين بمفهوم التغير المناخي وتأثيره على عالمنا، وأهمية الحفاظ على البيئة.
سعدنا بحضور عدد مميز من اليافعين الذين أظهروا تفاعلاً واهتماماً كبيرين خلال الجلسة، حيث شاركوا بأفكارهم وتعلموا طرقاً بسيطة يمكنهم من خلالها المساهمة في حماية كوكبنا. وكانت الجلسة مثمرة وملهمة للجميع. 🌱

We recently brought together 20 amazing women from South Sudan, Sudan, and Ethiopia to share their stories through interactive storytelling.
Their lived experiences shed light on the challenges displaced communities face and offer insights for education, advocacy, and decision-making. These voices are shaping solutions for a more just and inclusive future.

🌎 ⚽️ Sport for Climate Action - Our first initiative 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️ 🌳

We are proud to share a major milestone: the successful initiative that brought together 120 young people to use sport as a tool for Climate awareness and safe space that's free from violence. Through games and teamwork, youth learned, connected, and took Action for a greener future.

Thanks to the amazing teams behind this initiative Al helal sport academy, Aspire City, Al Merreikh, and Young STARS and with specially appreciation to the GYRN

🌍✨ Sustainable Livelihoods for Displaced Communities! ✨🌍

We are grateful to be part of the Upcycling Macrame Training—a creative and eco-friendly initiative that empowers refugees, especially women and youth. By transforming waste into beautiful, marketable products, participants gain skills for financial independence while promoting climate resilience.

This program tackles climate-induced displacement by turning waste into opportunity, reducing environmental impact, and fostering sustainable livelihoods.

In February 2024, the Refugee Voice on Climate was delighted to host a delegation from the Taiwan people and Brazilian doctors to Egypt. During their visit, we engaged in discussions about various development opportunities with the Taiwanese and Brazilians delegation, and received praise for the outstanding work of our young volunteers, who are making a positive impact in their communities. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Taiwanese and the Brazilian family for their unexpected visit, which was truly appreciated. We would also like to extend our thanks to UNHCR Egypt and the ministry of social solidarity Egypt for hosting us in facilitating workshop related to registration of the initiative.
We at the Refugee Voice On Climate are deeply grateful for this opportunity to build bridges and foster partnerships with organizations and individuals like the Taiwan community and Brazilian people special on the related climate displacement topics.

As a start, the climate crisis is a human rights issue, every year at COP, countries come together to take action towards achieving the world’s collective climate goals as agreed under the Paris Agreement and the Convention.
Many expertise at Cops delivered speeches about refugees and immigrants crisis amid the climate impact without inviting one single refugee on the table of the discussion, refugees are being left out, they are not invited to the table to share their ideas based on the experiences they went through and yet climate change is now recognized as the primary factor or one of the drivers forcing the displacement of millions of people worldwide.
