فخورين بالدكتورة سالي حافظ حيث تم اختيارها لزمالة توتو (Tutu Fellowship), التى تضم قادة استثنائيين من 15 دولة أفريقية في مجالات القطاع العام والخاص والمجتمع المدني.
سالي باحثة في النظم الصحية ومتخصصة في الصحة العالمية، ولديها أكثر من 15 عامًا من الخبرة في العمل في بيئات هشة ومتأثرة بالنزاعات مثل فلسطين والسودان وسوريا والعراق وغيرها، مع تركيز على تقاطع الصحة والنوع الاجتماعي والعنف الجنسي والحماية.
وهي أيضًا عضو سابق في فريق القيادة في Women in Global Health Egypt، حاصلة على درجة الدكتوراة في London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine، حيث تعمل على منهجيات لتفكيك اثر الاستعمار في الصحة العالمية، كما تعمل كباحثة زائرة في جامعة هولير الطبية
يمثل هذا التكريم اعترافًا بقيادات أفريقية تسهم في إحداث تغيير عبر القارة.
سالي كأول امرأة مصرية يتم اختيارها للزمالة بتفتح الطريق لمصريات كتير أنهم يأمنوا بنفسهم وقدراتهم.

We are so proud of Dr. Sali Hafez for being selected for the Tutu Fellowship, bringing together exceptional African leaders from 15 countries across public, private, and civil society sectors.
Sali is a health systems researcher and global health specialist with over 15 years of experience working in fragile and conflict-affected settings across Palestine, Sudan, Syria, Iraq, and beyond, focusing on health, gender, sexual violence, and protection.
She holds a PhD and is currently a Research Fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, working on decolonising global health methods, and a visiting researcher at Hawler Medical University.
She is also a former leadership team member of Women in Global Health Egypt.
A recognition of African leadership driving transformative change across the continent.
Sali as the first Egyptian woman to be selected for this fellowship opens the door for more Egyptian women to believe in their abilities.

One of the best things about being part of the Women in Global Health Egypt community is connecting with inspiring women leaders.

While the former leadership team members are attending the Women Deliver Conference this year in Melbourne, the current chair of the WGH is giving a speech at the World Health Summit Regional Meeting taking place now in Nairobi.

Their leadership, experience, and support show the true value of this network and the opportunities for mentorship and growth it provides. A reminder of how this community continues to lead and create impact globally.

أطباء الامتياز هم أطباء في مرحلة التدريب، ويتعرضون لمختلف مخاطر المهنة الطبية، بما في ذلك العدوى والأمراض والضغط النفسي الذي يواجهه الأطباء الممارسون بعد التخرج. ويمارس طبيب الامتياز العمل الطبي بشكل فعلي، وله دور أساسي داخل المستشفيات الجامعية، حيث يشارك في تقديم الرعاية الصحية ويتحمل مسؤوليات يومية. وغالبًا ما تتضمن مهامه قضاء ساعات عمل طويلة قد تمتد إلى ١٢ ساعة يوميًا أو أكثر في بعض المستشفيات، مما يزيد من احتمالية تعرضه لمختلف المخاطر والأمراض المرتبطة بالمهنة. لذلك يعٌد هذا المقترح خطوة مهمة نحو تحسين أوضاع الأطباء في مصر، وبادرة إيجابية للمساهمة في خلق بيئة عمل أكثر أمانًا وعدالة واستدامة للأطباء.
Intern doctors are physicians in a training phase, and they are exposed to various occupational hazards, including infections, diseases, and the psychological stress faced by practicing doctors after graduation.

Intern doctors actively practice medicine and play a fundamental role within university hospitals, where they contribute to providing healthcare and carry daily responsibilities. Their duties often involve long working hours that may extend to 12 hours per day or more in some hospitals, increasing their risk of exposure to occupational hazards and work-related illnesses.

Therefore, this proposal represents an important step toward improving the conditions of doctors in Egypt and serves as a positive initiative to help create a safer, fairer, and more sustainable working environment for physicians.

نرحّب بمجموعة مُلهمة من القياديات الملتزمات بالعدالة الصحية، وبناء نظم صحية شاملة، وتعزيز قيادة المرأة.

إيناس عبدالواحد - رئيسة المجلس:
طبيبة وخبيرة في الصحة العامة والصحة الرقمية بخبرة ١٠+ سنوات في أفريقيا والمنطقة العربية، خبيرة فنية أولى بالمراكز الإفريقية لمكافحة الأمراض، وزميلة برنامج كوفي عنان في القيادة في مجال الصحة العامة.

أروى هاني– نائبة الرئيسة:
طبيبة مقيمة نساء وتوليد بجامعة القاهرة، تجمع بين العمل الإكلينيكي والمناصرة العالمية في قضايا الصحة والحقوق الجنسية والإنجابية.

عفاف يحيى– الفعاليات وبناء القدرات:
متخصصة في السياسات العامة والبحوث الاقتصادية، تركز على التنمية الشاملة وتمكين القيادات النسائية.

ميريت أسعد– المناصرة والبحث:
خبيرة في مجال التنمية الإنسانية لأكثر من ١٩ عامًا في الصحة والحماية وقيادة البرامج.

أسماء إبراهيم– العلاقات العامة والشراكات:
تتمتع أسماء بخبرة ٧ سنوات في العمل مع المنظمات غير الحكومية، تسعي لقيادة التغيير في صميم مجال المساواة بين الجنسين. وصياغة سرديات وشراكات لتمكين المرأة والتنمية الاجتماعية.

دينا مصطفى– إشراك الاعضاء:
طبيبة ومنسقة صحة مجتمعية بمؤسسة Verynile، متخصصة في المبادرات الصحية المجتمعية
