Participation de l’AFCCA à la réunion des responsables des achats des anques multilatérales de développement

La Fédération Africaine des Associations d’Entrepreneurs en Construction (AFCCA), représentée par Son Excellence l’Ambassadeur Hatem Tageldin, Secrétaire Général de la Fédération, a participé par visioconférence à la réunion des responsables des départements des achats des banques multilatérales de développement (MDBs Heads of Procurement), organisée par la Banque de Développement du Conseil de l’Europe (CEB) à Paris, le 9 septembre 2026, en coopération avec l’Association Mondiale de la Construction (CICA).

La réunion a porté sur les moyens de renforcer la coopération et la coordination entre les banques multilatérales de développement dans le domaine des achats, ainsi que sur l’échange d’expériences concernant le développement et l’harmonisation des pratiques et procédures, contribuant ainsi à améliorer l’efficacité de la mise en œuvre des projets de développement et à renforcer la transparence et la durabilité.

La participation de l’AFCCA à cette réunion confirme l’intérêt de la Fédération à renforcer la présence du secteur Africain de la construction dans le dialogue international sur les politiques d’achat, les contrats et les projets de développement, ainsi qu’à soutenir les opportunités de coopération entre les organisations d’entrepreneurs et les banques et institutions multilatérales de financement et de développement.

AFCCA Participates in the MDBs Heads of Procurement Meeting

The African Federation for Construction Contractors’ Associations (AFCCA), represented by H.E. Ambassador Hatem Tageldin, Secretary-General of the Federation, participated via videoconference in the Meeting of Heads of Procurement of Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs Heads of Procurement), hosted by the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) in Paris on 9 September 2026, in cooperation with the World Construction Association (CICA).

The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination among multilateral development banks in the field of procurement and to exchange experiences on the development and harmonization of procurement practices and procedures, with a view to enhancing the efficiency of development project implementation and promoting transparency and sustainability.

AFCCA’s participation in the meeting reflects the Federation’s commitment to strengthening the presence of the African construction sector in the international dialogue on procurement policies, contracts, and development projects, while supporting opportunities for greater cooperation between contractors’ organizations and multilateral development banks and other development finance institutions.

شارك الاتحاد الأفريقي لمنظمات مقاولي التشييد (AFCCA)، ممثلاً في السفير حاتم تاج الدين، الأمين العام للاتحاد، عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي، في اجتماع رؤساء إدارات المشتريات في بنوك التنمية متعددة الأطراف (MDBs Heads of Procurement)، الذي استضافه بنك التنمية التابع لمجلس أوروبا (CEB) في باريس يوم 9 سبتمبر 2026، بالتعاون مع الاتحاد العالمي للبناء (CICA).

وناقش الاجتماع سبل تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق بين بنوك التنمية متعددة الأطراف في مجال المشتريات، وتبادل الخبرات بشأن تطوير وتوحيد الممارسات والإجراءات، بما يسهم في رفع كفاءة تنفيذ المشروعات التنموية وتعزيز الشفافية والاستدامة.

وتأتي مشاركة AFCCA في هذا الاجتماع تأكيداً على اهتمام الاتحاد بتعزيز حضور قطاع المقاولات الأفريقي في الحوار الدولي حول سياسات المشتريات والعقود والمشروعات التنموية، ودعم فرص التعاون بين مؤسسات المقاولين وبنوك ومؤسسات التمويل والتنمية متعددة الأطراف.

Master Builders South Africa (MBSA) presented AFCCA with a Certificate of Recognition in appreciation of the Federation’s role and efforts in promoting cooperation among African contractors’ organizations and strengthening professional engagement and partnerships that contribute to the development of the construction and infrastructure sectors across the continent. The certificate was received by Mr. Ephraim Gwindingwi on behalf of AFCCA.

AFCCA participates in the MBSA Annual Meeting and receives a Certificate of Recognition

Mr. Ephraim Gwindingwi, the previous President of the Zimbabwe Construction Industry Federation (CIFOZ) and Vice-President of the African Federation of Construction Contractors' Associations (AFCCA) for the South African region, represented Eng. Hassan Abdelaziz, President of AFCCA, at the 2026 Annual Congress of Master Builders of South Africa (MBSA), held on 3 and 4 September 2026 in Zimbali, KwaZulu-Natal province, under the theme: "Building South Africa as a Gateway to Africa through Investment and Smart Infrastructure".

The Congress provided an important platform to discuss issues related to investment, infrastructure development and the advancement of the construction sector, while strengthening cooperation between contractors' associations and organisations in South Africa and across the African continent. It brought together several officials, decision-makers and leaders from the construction sector.

Mr. Ephraim Gwindingwi also participated as a speaker in a panel discussion entitled "Infrastructure Development Dialogue in Africa – Building Sustainable Infrastructure in Africa: What to Do and What Not to Do". The session addressed a wide range of issues related to sustainable infrastructure development in Africa, including the importance of harmonizing regulatory frameworks, the role of good governance in supporting sustainable investment, and strengthening African cooperation in the field of infrastructure. It also examined the role of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) in supporting the construction sector across the continent.

During the Congress, Master Builders of South Africa (MBSA) presented AFCCA with a Certificate of Recognition in appreciation of the Federation's role and efforts in promoting cooperation among African contractors' organizations, as well as strengthening professional exchanges and partnerships contributing to the development of the construction and infrastructure sectors across the continent. The certificate was received by Mr. Ephraim Gwindingwi on behalf of the AFCCA.

The participation of the AFCCA Vice-President for the South African region, representing the President of the Federation, as well as the recognition given to the AFCCA, testifies to the importance of the role played by the Federation in expanding cooperation and coordination among African entrepreneurs' organisations, while fostering partnership opportunities and the exchange of expertise on a continental scale.

AFCCA participe au Congrès Annuel de la MBSA et reçoit un Certificat de Reconnaissance

M. Ephraim Gwindingwi, le Président précédent de la Fédération de l’Industrie de la Construction du Zimbabwe (CIFOZ) et Vice-Président de la Fédération Africaine des Associations d’Entrepreneurs en Construction (AFCCA) pour la région de l’Afrique du Sud, a représenté l’Ing. Hassan Abdelaziz, Président de l’AFCCA, lors du Congrès Annuel 2026 de Master Builders d'Afrique du Sud (MBSA), tenu les 3 et 4 Septembre 2026 à Zimbali, dans la province du KwaZulu-Natal, sous le thème: « Construire l’Afrique du Sud comme Porte d’Entrée vers l’Afrique grâce à l’Investissement et aux Infrastructures Intelligentes ».

Le Congrès a constitué une plateforme importante pour examiner les questions liées à l’investissement, au développement des infrastructures et à l’avancement du secteur de la construction, tout en renforçant la coopération entre les associations et organisations d’entrepreneurs en Afrique du Sud et à travers le continent Africain. Il a réuni plusieurs responsables, décideurs et dirigeants du secteur de la construction.

M. Ephraim Gwindingwi a également participé en tant qu’intervenant à une table ronde intitulée « Dialogue sur le Développement des Infrastructures en Afrique – Construire des Infrastructures Durables en Afrique: ce qu’il faut faire et ne pas faire ». La session a abordé un large éventail de questions liées au développement d’infrastructures durables en Afrique, notamment l’importance de l’harmonisation des cadres réglementaires, le rôle de la bonne gouvernance dans le soutien aux investissements durables et le renforcement de la coopération Africaine dans le domaine des infrastructures. Elle a également examiné le rôle de la Zone de libre-échange Continentale Africaine (ZLECAf) dans le soutien au secteur de la construction à travers le continent.

Au cours du Congrès, Master Builders d’Afrique du Sud (MBSA) a remis à l’AFCCA un certificat de reconnaissance en appréciation du rôle et des efforts de la Fédération dans la promotion de la coopération entre les organisations Africaines d’entrepreneurs, ainsi que dans le renforcement des échanges professionnels et des partenariats contribuant au développement des secteurs de la construction et des infrastructures à travers le continent. Le certificat a été reçu par M. Ephraim Gwindingwi au nom de l’AFCCA.

La participation du Vice-Président de l’AFCCA pour la région de l’Afrique de Sud, représentant le Président de la Fédération, ainsi que la reconnaissance accordée à l’AFCCA, témoignent de l’importance du rôle joué par la Fédération dans l’élargissement de la coopération et de la coordination entre les organisations Africaines d’entrepreneurs, tout en favorisant les possibilités de partenariat et l’échange d’expertise à l’échelle Continentale.

شارك السيد إفرايم چويندينچوي (Ephraim Gwindingwi)، الرئيس السابق لاتحاد صناعة البناء في زيمبابوي ونائب رئيس الاتحاد الأفريقي لمنظمات مقاولي التشييد (AFCCA) عن منطقة الجنوب الأفريقي، ممثلاً للمهندس حسن عبد العزيز، رئيس الاتحاد الأفريقي لمنظمات مقاولي التشييد، في المؤتمر السنوي لاتحاد بناة جنوب أفريقيا (Master Builders South Africa – MBSA) لعام 2026، الذي عُقد يومي 3 و4 سبتمبر 2026 في زيمبالي، مقاطعة كوازولو ناتال، تحت شعار: «بناء جنوب أفريقيا كبوابة إلى أفريقيا من خلال الاستثمار والبنية التحتية الذكية».

وشكّل المؤتمر منصة مهمة لبحث قضايا الاستثمار والبنية التحتية وتطوير قطاع التشييد، وتعزيز التعاون بين مؤسسات ومنظمات المقاولين في جنوب أفريقيا والقارة الأفريقية، بمشاركة عدد من المسؤولين وصناع القرار وقيادات قطاع التشييد.

كما شارك المهندس إفرايم چويندينچوي متحدثاً في جلسة حوارية بعنوان: «حوار تطوير البنية التحتية في أفريقيا – بناء البنية التحتية المستدامة في أفريقيا: ما ينبغي وما لا ينبغي فعله»، والتي تناولت عدداً من القضايا المرتبطة بتطوير البنية التحتية المستدامة في أفريقيا، من بينها أهمية مواءمة الأطر التنظيمية، ودور الحوكمة الرشيدة في دعم الاستثمارات المستدامة، وتعزيز التعاون الأفريقي في مجال البنية التحتية، إلى جانب بحث دور منطقة التجارة الحرة القارية الأفريقية في دعم قطاع التشييد بالقارة.

وخلال أعمال المؤتمر، تم تكريم الاتحاد الأفريقي لمنظمات مقاولي التشييد (AFCCA) من قبل اتحاد بناة جنوب أفريقيا (MBSA)، تقديراً لدوره وجهوده في دعم التعاون بين منظمات المقاولين الأفريقية، وتعزيز التواصل والشراكات المهنية بما يسهم في تطوير قطاع التشييد والبنية التحتية في القارة.

African Federation for Construction Contractors' Associations Organizes Joint Webinar on Affordable, Resilient and Sustainable Housing in Egypt and Africa

The African Federation for Construction Contractors' Associations (AFCCA), in cooperation with the World Construction Association (CICA) and the Housing and Building National Research Center (HBRC), organized a joint webinar on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, entitled "Affordable, Resilient and Sustainable Housing in Egypt and Africa," bringing together a distinguished group of specialists and stakeholders in the housing and construction sector.

The webinar addressed a number of issues related to the development of the housing sector in Egypt and Africa, with a focus on means of providing affordable, sustainable, and resilient housing amid rapid population growth and urban expansion. The session also reviewed the key trends and challenges facing the housing and construction sectors, as well as the role of innovation and sustainable practices in enhancing the efficiency and quality of projects.

The meeting further served as a platform for exchanging expertise and insights on relevant experiences in sustainable and resilient housing, and for exploring opportunities to strengthen cooperation among institutions and stakeholders in the construction sector at both the Egyptian and African levels.
This webinar reflects AFCCA’s ongoing commitment to strengthening international cooperation and partnerships, and to promoting the exchange of knowledge and expertise among construction sector institutions across Africa, in support of the continued advancement of the construction industry and its capacity to meet developmental and future challenges.

نظّم الاتحاد الأفريقي لمنظمات مقاولي التشييد (AFCCA)، بالتعاون مع الاتحاد العالمي للبناء (CICA) والمركز القومي لبحوث الإسكان والبناء (HBRC)، يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 1 سبتمبر 2026، ويبينار مشترك بعنوان «الإسكان الميسر والمستدام والقادر على الصمود في مصر وأفريقيا»، بمشاركة نخبة من المتخصصين والمهتمين بقطاع الإسكان والتشييد.

وتناول الويبينار عددًا من القضايا المرتبطة بتطوير قطاع الإسكان في مصر وأفريقيا، مع التركيز على سبل توفير مساكن ميسرة ومستدامة وقادرة على الصمود، في ظل النمو السكاني والتوسع العمراني المتسارع، إلى جانب استعراض أبرز الاتجاهات والتحديات التي تواجه قطاعي الإسكان والتشييد، ودور الابتكار والممارسات المستدامة في تعزيز كفاءة وجودة المشروعات.

La Fédération Africaine des Associations d'Entrepreneurs en Construction organise un webinaire conjoint sur “Le Logement Abordable, Durable et Résilient en Égypte et en Afrique

La Fédération Africaine des Associations d'Entrepreneurs en Construction (AFCCA), en collaboration avec l'Association Mondiale de la Construction (CICA) et le Centre National de Recherche sur le Logement et le Bâtiment (HBRC), a organisé, le Mardi 1er Septembre 2026, un webinaire conjoint intitulé « Le Logement Abordable, Durable et Résilient en Égypte et en Afrique », avec la participation d’un panel de spécialistes et de professionnels intéressés par les secteurs du logement et de la Bâtiment.

Le webinaire a abordé plusieurs questions liées au développement du secteur du logement en Égypte et en Afrique, en mettant l’accent sur les moyens de fournir des logements abordables, durables et résilients face à la croissance démographique et à l’urbanisation rapide. Les participants ont également examiné les principales tendances et les défis auxquels sont confrontés les secteurs du logement et du bâtiment, ainsi que le rôle de l’innovation et des pratiques durables dans l’amélioration de l’efficacité et de la qualité des projets.

Cette rencontre a également constitué une plateforme d’échange d’expériences et de points de vue sur les initiatives liées au logement durable et résilient, ainsi qu’une occasion d’examiner les possibilités de renforcer la coopération entre les institutions et les différents acteurs du secteur de la construction aux niveaux Égyptien et Africain.

L’organisation de ce webinaire s’inscrit dans le cadre des efforts de l’AFCCA visant à renforcer la coopération et les partenariats internationaux, ainsi qu’à favoriser le partage des connaissances et des expériences entre les institutions et les acteurs du secteur de la construction en Afrique, contribuant ainsi au développement de l’industrie de la construction et au renforcement de sa capacité à répondre aux défis du développement et aux enjeux futurs.
