We are proud to highlight the participation of the African Union Model (AUM) team as facilitators in the SU Leaders – School Union Leaders Program.
Prior to the Bootcamp, the AUM team successfully completed a Training of Trainers (ToT), which equipped them with the skills and tools to effectively facilitate sessions.
During the Bootcamp, they played a leading role in facilitating the Dawwie National Initiative activities (under the patronage of Mrs. Intisar El Sisi, the First Lady of Egypt). These activities included Story Circles, Intergenerational Dialogue, Community Dialogue, and Policy Dialogue, providing students with safe spaces for expression, empowerment, and leadership development.
✨ AUM Participants:
- Jana Mohamed – AUM Executive Director
- Haneen Abo Elsoud – AUM Deputy Executive Director
- AUM Committees Directors: Adham Wael, Malak Ahmed, Makak Mohamed, Youssef Elhenawy, Kirolos Mina
- Ex AUM Excellent Members: Shaden Roza, Maya Assem
Their outstanding contribution was a cornerstone in the success of SU Leaders, proving once again that student activities can play a vital role in shaping future leaders.
The program is implemented by the Youth Leaders Foundation (YLF), in partnership with UNICEF, and under the patronage of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Ministry of Education, the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood, and the National Council for Women, within the umbrella of the Ministerial Group for Human Development, as part of the Egyptian Women Empowerment Program, funded by the European Union.
