Kareem Abu-Elmagd Foundation has emerged to inspire hope, advance health care, and enhance the wellbeing of the people of Egypt, Middle East, and Africa by increasing access, affordability, continual education, and community driven clinical services. The foundation has been born because of the observed and widely documented increase in the incidence of malignancy and inflamma
tory disorders of the different organs of the digestive system in both children and adults. The founder has been instrumental in advancing the field of gut failure worldwide with innovative reconstructive surgical techniques and gut transplantation.
احتياج المجتمع
انشئت مؤسسة كريم ابو المجد الخيرية لبث الامل فى توفير الرعاية الصحية المتكاملة المجانية لشعب مصر والوطن العربى وافريقيا. ولدت فكرة المؤسسة بعد الارتفاع المستمر فى معدل الاصابة بالسرطان والامراض المناعية بالجهاز الهضمى بين الاطفال والكبار. لعب الدكتور كريم ابو المجد دورا رئيسيا على مستوي العالم فى التقدم بمجال العلاج الجراحي لفشل وظائف الجهاز الهضمى. لقد ابتكر الدكتور كريم ابو المجد العديد من جراحات الجهاز الهضمى الدقيقة اهمها زراعة الامعاء وكامل احشاء البطن بأنواعها المختلفة بالإضافة إلى عمليات بناء وتأهيل الامعاء

مؤسسة كريم ابو المجد الخيرية هى مؤسسة اهلية مصرية غير هادفة للربح تم تأسيسها فى اكتوبر ٢٠١٧ تحت رقم قيد ٨١٥ بمبادرة من الدكتور كريم ابو المجد لنقل خبراته عبر ثلاثين عاما فى جراحات الجهاز الهضمى وزراعة الاعضاء لتوفير أفضل رعاية صحية بالمعايير العالمية لوطنه الام مصر ولجميع دول منطقة الشرق الاوسط وافريقيا. MISSION
• Establishing a world class charitable digestive disease institute to deliver free care for patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary diseases as well as cancer to better serve children, young people, and adult patients throughout Egypt, Middle East and Africa.
• Creating community-based organization to streamline the concept of preventive medical care and its significant impact on individual longevity, quality of life, and health economics in Egypt and the region at large.
• Launching unique and highly specialized training programs to build up a new generation of dedicated health care professionals with high standards including excellence, integrity, compassion, collaboration, and stewardship.
• Developing a cutting edge academic and clinical translational research with a special focus on the life-threatening common health problems including cancer.

المجانية لمرضى الجهاز الهضمى والكبد والاورام السرطانية والعيوب الخلقية المتعلقة وذلك لخدمة الاطفال والكبار فى انحاء جمهورية مصر العربية ومنطقة الشرق الاوسط وافريقيا
*نشر التوعية بأهمية الطب الوقائى وتأثير الإلتزام بالعادات الغذائية الصحيحة على حياة الفرد وعلى تحسين إدارة الاقتصاديات المتعلقة بالمجال الصحى.
*تأسيس برامج تدريبية على أعلى مستوى لبناء جيل جديد من الاطباء والتمريض بخبرة عالمية.
*تطوير البحث العلمى لإنماء الوعي المعرفى عن أمراض الجهاز الهضمى والسرطان ولتيسير ابتكارالعلاجات والجراحات المختلفة لخدمة المجتمع.
