Proud to see my District 352 Egypt featuring in Lions Clubs International Foundation official account.

Also in the picture our immediate past District Governor Dr. Ibrahim Darwish and my Club Alexandria Lions Apollo Past President and current Zone Chairperson Dr. Iman Marzouk 🙏

LCIF provided a District and Club Community Impact Grant to District 352 in Egypt. This US$9,500 grant helped equip a local hospital with much needed upgrades. Residents now have access to X rays, ultrasounds, and an Ophthalmology clinic. It is estimated that these improvements will benefit 184,000 people in the surrounding area.

During 𝑳𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝑯𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝑾𝒆𝒆𝒌, the 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐀𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐋𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛, 𝐀𝐥𝐩𝐡𝐚 & 𝐎𝐦𝐞𝐠𝐚 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐬 chose to go beyond short-term relief and focus on dignity, nutrition, and sustainability.

Instead of distributing only food items, our volunteers packed and delivered Household Essentials Bags—designed to help families prepare real, home-cooked meals with pride.

Each bag included (1 whole chicken,1 kg rice, 2 kg potatoes, Tomato paste, salt, Cooking oil & ghee)

These are not just groceries—they are the foundation for a warm family dinner and a sense of normalcy at the kitchen table.

In parallel, our 𝐋𝐄𝐎 members prepared and distributed hot meals (Chicken, rice, vegtables) demonstrating youth leadership, teamwork, and service in action.

While Hunger Week shines a global spotlight, food security is a 365-day responsibility.

We are proud to serve families across Alexandria, Abis, and Amreya, ensuring that no table is left empty.

We are currently seeking partners, sponsors, and volunteers to help us reach our next milestone: 30,000+ Ramadan Meals.
