ive of its kind that targets the growth of small projects, giving Egyptian entrepreneurs a competing advantage to increase their share in the market, develop their businesses and work on providing job opportunities for Egyptian youth. Gessur Initiative's objectives are:
Inspire: The concept for this project builds on the importance of knowledge sharing within the local business community. Its aim is to capture and share a glimpse of local Egyptian entrepreneurial culture; the experiences and journeys of local entrepreneurs. And to make this information available so that future generations of entrepreneurs may use it to learn, be inspired and motivate young developers to compete on initiative awards by create business solutions to help support business growth. Connect: provide an online business networking platform, where entrepreneurs can network, share knowledge and find peer support. Train: Provide technical support through coaching and mentoring sessions for business start-ups and growing existing projects. Sustain: provide access to finance through investors, venture capital and business angel networks who are willing to invest the promising ideas and growth stage. Celebrate: transferring hundreds of small entrepreneurial businesses to medium size enterprises. This initiative was designed to encourage application developers on imagination to show their talents and ideas through creating technology programs that can be used generally on similar projects that have the chance to grow. Also, it was designed to be a place for developers to market their applications on a wider scale to the public inside and outside Egypt. This initiative will allow participants to gain publicity, appreciation and competing on having financial awards. In addition to the chance they will have in marketing for their applications and products that can be sold to investors and venture capital. In addition, it combines between the entrepreneurs and young application developers to find technological business solutions helping them to expand their enterprises

Gessur Initiative is brought to you by Entrepreneurs Business Forum (EBF-Egypt) in partnership with One Global Economy (OGE), Alexandria Business Association (ABA), Alexandria University, Safwa Club and sponsored by CISCO. The partners offer the winner a prize for 10,000 L.E cash that can be his starting capital. هى أول مبادرة أعمال مصرية من نوعها بهدف العمل على نمو المشروعات الصغيرة و الحرفية من أجل إعطاء رواد الأعمال في مصر ميزة تنافسية لزيادة حصتهم في السوق وتطوير أعمالهم التجارية الصغيرة و العمل على توظيف المزيد من المصريين.
مبادرة جسور لها عدة أهداف استراتيجية :
الإلهام: مفهوم هذا البرنامج مبنى على أهمية تقاسم المعرفة داخل مجتمع الأعمال المحلي. و هدفه هو اعطاء لمحة عن الثقافة المحلية لريادية الأعمال فى مصر، واكتساب المعارف من خبرات رواد الأعمال المحليين. وجعل هذه المعلومات متاحة بحيث يسهل استخدامها من قبل شباب رواد الاعمال ، و هكذا يمكن أن تكون مصدر إلهام وتحفيز المطورين الشباب للتنافس على جوائز المبادرة و ابتكار حلول الأعمال و تطبيقات تكنولوجية للمساعدة في دعم نمو الأعمال.
التواصل: توفير منصة أعمال الكترونية تتيح لرواد الأعمال التشبيك و تبادل المعلومات و المعرفة و الحصول على الدعم المباشر و المتبادل .
التدريب: تقديم الدعم الفني من خلال التدريب والتوجيه لتأسيس المشاريع الجديدة و دعم نمو المشاريع القائمة.
الاستدامة: توفير سبل الحصول على التمويل من خلال المستثمرين ، ورأس المال المخاطر و شبكات ملائكة الأعمال الذين هم على استعداد للاستثمار في الأفكار الواعدة ومرحلة النمو.
الاحتفال: بتحويل مئات من الشركات الريادية الصغيرة لتكون شركات متوسطة.
صممت تلك المبادرة لتشجيع مطورين التطبيقات التكنولوجية من الشباب على التأمل و على إظهار مواهبهم وأفكارهم من خلال ابتكار برامج تكنولوجيا قابلة للتعميم على المشروعات الصغيرة القابلة للنمو. أيضا صممت لتكون مكانا للمطورين لتسويق تطبيقاتهم الى جمهور أوسع في كل من مصر والخارج. هذه المسابقة المفتوحة سوف تسمح للمشاركين كسب أكبر دعاية وتقدير ، والتنافس للحصول على جوائز نقدية، والحصول على فرصة لتسويق التطبيقات والمنتجات التي يمكن بيعها لأصحاب الأعمال.
بالاضافة الى أنها تجمع بين أصحاب الأعمال نفسهم و مطوري التطبيقات الالكترونية الشباب لابتكار حلول أعمال تكنولوجية تساعدهم على نمو أعمالهم.

مبادرة جسور تأتى اليكم من خلال منتدى رائدى الأعمال (EBF) و وان جلوبال ايكونومى (OGE) و مشروع تنمية المنشآت الصغيرة و الحرفية بجمعية رجال أعمال اسكندرية (ABA) و جامعة الاسكندرية و أسرة الصفوة برعاية شركة سيسكو (CISCO).
سيقدم الشركاء للفائز الأول جائزة نقدية 10.000 جنيه مصرى تكون بمثابة نواه لتأسيس شركته الجديدة.
