في إطار اهتمام مؤسسة شباب 2030 للتنمية بتمكين الشباب وتعزيز مشاركتهم في القضايا التنموية، شاركت المؤسسة في فعاليات المنصة الوطنية لحوار الشباب حول حوكمة إدارة المياه ودورها في تعزيز الأمن المائي، التي نظمها المنتدى الوطني لنهر النيل (Egypt-NDF) يوم 9 أغسطس 2026 بالقاهرة، ومثّل المؤسسة خلال الفعالية الأستاذ/ إبراهيم صلاح.

وشهدت الفعالية حوارًا تفاعليًا جمع الشباب والخبراء وممثلي المجتمع المدني حول الأمن المائي، حوكمة الموارد المائية، دبلوماسية المياه، الابتكار، ودور الشباب في صياغة السياسات وصنع القرار.

كما تناولت د. غادة أحمدين، رئيسة الشبكة الإقليمية للمرأة بدول حوض النيل ورئيسة الشبكة المصرية للمرأة بحوض النيل، دور المجتمع المدني في التعامل مع تحديات المياه، وأهمية مشاركة الشباب والمرأة في هذا الملف، مؤكدة ضرورة أن يكون للمجتمع المدني والشباب دور فاعل في مواجهة تحديات المياه.

كما ناقشت د. رشا صالح، رئيس الإدارة المركزية لنوعية المياه بوزارة البيئة، قضايا الأمن المائي وتلوث المياه والتشريعات وآليات التعاون بين الدول، بينما تناول د. يسري خفاجي، خبير الموارد المائية والري والمتحدث الرسمي السابق لوزارة الري، مفهوم دبلوماسية المياه ودور الشباب في بناء السلام وتعزيز التعاون.

واختُتمت الفعاليات بورشة عمل شبابية ناقشت دور الشباب في صياغة سياسات المياه، والابتكار في مواجهة قضايا المياه، ومعوقات وفرص المشاركة الشبابية، إلى جانب مناقشة خطوات إنشاء الشبكة الوطنية لشباب النيل وأبرز التوصيات المستقبلية.

As part of the Youth 2030 Foundation for Development’s commitment to empowering youth and enhancing their participation in developmental issues, the Foundation participated in the "National Platform for Youth Dialogue on Water Governance and its Role in Enhancing Water Security." This event was organized by the Egypt National Discourse Forum (Egypt-NDF) on August 9, 2026, in Cairo, where the Foundation was represented by Mr. Ibrahim Salah.
The event featured an interactive dialogue bringing together youth, experts, and civil society representatives to discuss water security, water resources governance, water diplomacy, innovation, and the role of youth in policymaking and decision-making.
Furthermore, Dr. Ghada Ahmadein, Head of the Regional Women's Network of the Nile Basin Countries and Head of the Egyptian Women's Network of the Nile Basin, addressed the role of civil society in tackling water challenges. She emphasized the importance of youth and women's participation in this issue, asserting the absolute necessity for civil society and youth to play an active role in confronting water-related challenges.
Additionally, Dr. Rasha Saleh, Head of the Central Administration for Water Quality at the Ministry of Environment, discussed issues of water security, water pollution, legislation, and cooperation mechanisms between nations. Meanwhile, Dr. Yousry Khafagy, Water Resources and Irrigation Expert and former Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, explored the concept of water diplomacy and the role of youth in peacebuilding and fostering cooperation.
The event concluded with a youth workshop that discussed the role of youth in drafting water policies, leveraging innovation to address water issues, and the challenges and opportunities regarding youth participation. The workshop also reviewed the steps for establishing the National Nile Youth Network, alongside highlighting key future recommendations.
At the Youth 2030 Foundation for Development, we firmly believe that young people are not merely beneficiaries of policies, but true partners in decision-making and in building a more sustainable future for the Nile Basin.

مؤسسة شباب 2030 للتنمية تشارك في الملتقى التوظيفي لمشروع "دمج وتوظيف الشباب.. جاهزون للغد" 🌱🤝

في إطار حرص **مؤسسة شباب 2030 للتنمية** على دعم وتمكين الشباب، وتعزيز فرص التأهيل والتوظيف وربط الشباب بسوق العمل، شاركت المؤسسة في فعاليات **الملتقى التوظيفي لمشروع "دمج وتوظيف الشباب – جاهزون للغد"**، والذي تم تنفيذه من خلال **جمعية الريادة للتنمية** بدعم وتمويل من **هيئة بلان إنترناشيونال إيجيبت**.

وقد شارك ممثلين عن المؤسسة خلال فعاليات الملتقى:

وشهد الملتقى العديد من اللقاءات والتفاعلات بين الشباب وممثلي الجهات المشاركة، بهدف التعرف على فرص العمل المتاحة، وبناء جسور التواصل بين الكفاءات الشابة واحتياجات سوق العمل، بما يساهم في دعم مسارات التمكين الاقتصادي للشباب.

وتؤكد **مؤسسة شباب 2030 للتنمية** استمرارها في دعم المبادرات التي تستهدف تطوير قدرات الشباب، وتعزيز مشاركتهم الفاعلة في التنمية، وفتح آفاق جديدة أمامهم نحو مستقبل مهني أكثر استقرارًا وتأثيرًا.

As part of the Youth 2030 Foundation for Development's dedication to supporting and empowering youth, enhancing training and employment opportunities, and bridging the gap between youth and the labor market, the Foundation participated in the Employment Fair for the "Youth Integration and Employment – Ready for Tomorrow" project. The event was organized and implemented by the Al-Riyada Association for Development, with funding and support from Plan International Egypt.

The fair took place on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, bringing together a diverse group of companies, institutions, and key stakeholders dedicated to youth empowerment and the provision of training and employment opportunities.
The event featured numerous networking sessions and meaningful interactions between young attendees and representatives of the participating organizations. These engagements aimed to highlight available career opportunities and build bridges between emerging young talents and the actual needs of the labor market, ultimately supporting pathways for youth economic empowerment.

وتستهدف المبادرة الشباب من الفئة العمرية (16–35 عامًا)، وتهدف إلى تنمية المهارات الرقمية والتكنولوجية، وتأهيل الشباب في مجالات البرمجة والذكاء الاصطناعي، بما يعزز جاهزيتهم لسوق العمل ويدعم قدراتهم على مواكبة متطلبات التحول الرقمي.

Mr. Tharwat Abdelrahman, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Shabab 2030 Foundation for Development, participated in the introductory meeting and official launch of the "Seeds of Technology" Initiative, implemented by the Little Fingers Foundation in partnership with and funded by Misr El Kheir Foundation, through the Arab Center for the Sustainability of Civil Society, in Alexandria Governorate.

The initiative targets young people aged 16 to 35 and aims to equip them with essential digital and technological skills while providing specialized training in programming and artificial intelligence. By doing so, it seeks to enhance their employability and empower them to meet the evolving demands of the digital economy.

The event brought together representatives from a wide range of civil society organizations and NGOs, fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and stronger partnerships among development actors to maximize the impact of youth-focused initiatives.

Shabab 2030 Foundation for Development's participation reflects its ongoing commitment to empowering young people, strengthening their capacities, and collaborating with partners to implement sustainable development programs that nurture innovation and enable meaningful youth participation in building a more sustainable future.

📌 Youth 2030 for Development Foundation Participates in the TRANSFORMED Project Opening Session at Alexandria Library
Mr. Tharwat Abdel Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Youth 2030 for Development Foundation and member of the Anna Lindh Foundation Egyptian Network, participated in the opening meeting for community participation of the project:
"Cross-border Knowledge for a More Inclusive and Participatory Mediterranean Society – TRANSFORMED", held at the Conference Hall in the Library of Alexandria.
This participation comes upon a kind invitation from the Homeland Support Foundation for Development (Head of the Egyptian Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation), bringing together representatives from civil society, government entities, local authorities, and international organizations.
Funded by the European Union and led by the Anna Lindh Foundation, the TRANSFORMED project aims to enhance effective cooperation between civil society organizations and local authorities to design and implement development programs tailored to local priorities in Egypt, Lebanon, Cyprus, Greece, and Italy.
The participation of Youth 2030 for Development Foundation highlights its active role in sharing expertise, fostering participatory governance, and developing joint initiatives that serve sustainable development and social inclusion goals.
