في اليوم العالمي للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة (٣ ديسمبر)، تُجدد جمعية اتجاه للتأهيل والدمج المجتمعي التزامها الراسخ ببناء مجتمع تكون فيه الإتاحة حقًا، والكرامة محفوظة، ولا يتم ترك أي إنسان خلف الركب.
ومع وجود أكثر من 1.3 مليار شخص من ذوي الإعاقة حول العالم، نؤمن أن الإعاقة ليست عائقًا، بل جزء من التنوع الإنساني الذي يُثري المجتمع عندما تتوفر الفرص العادلة والبيئات المهيأة.
هذا اليوم ليس للاحتفال بالإعاقة ذاتها، بل لتأكيد مبادئ الحقوق، والمساواة، وإتاحة الوصول، والاستقلالية، والمشاركة الكاملة — وهي المبادئ التي تستند إليها رسالتنا في جمعية اتجاه.
الأشخاص ذوو الإعاقة لا يحتاجون إلى الشفقة أو المبالغة في تمجيدهم، بل يحتاجون إلى فرص عادلة في التعليم، والعمل، والرعاية الصحية، والتكنولوجيا، ومساحات الحياة العامة — مع تمكينهم ليكونوا قادة ومساهمين وصُنّاع تغيير.
كل مدرسة مهيأة، وكل وظيفة عادلة، وكل شارع قابل للوصول، وكل برنامج تدريب، هو خطوة نحو مجتمع أقوى وأكثر عدلًا.
وفي جمعية اتجاه، نواصل العمل على: تنفيذ البرامج والمبادرات الشاملة، دعم وتمكين الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة بالتدريب والمناصرة، تعزيز البيئات المهيأة والإتاحة في المجتمع، التعاون مع الأسر والمؤسسات والشركاء لضمان مشاركة كاملة للجميع، الشمول يبدأ بالوعي، وينمو بالفعل، ويصبح حقيقة عندما يشعر كل إنسان أن له مكانًا حقيقيًا في هذا المجتمع.
Today, on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (3 December), Direction Association for Rehabilitation and Community Integration reaffirms its commitment to building a society where inclusion is a right, dignity is protected, and no one is left behind.
With more than 1.3 billion people worldwide living with disabilities, we believe that disability is not a limitation —
but a part of human diversity that enriches our communities when opportunities are equal and environments are accessible.
This day is not about celebrating disability itself, but about promoting rights, equality, accessibility, independent living, and full participation — the core principles that guide our work at Direction Association.
People with disabilities do not need sympathy or glorification.
They need equal access to education, employment, healthcare, technology, and public spaces — and the chance to lead, learn, create, and thrive.
Every accessible school, every inclusive workplace, every adapted service, and every supportive policy
is a step toward a stronger, more just society.
At Direction Association, we continue to: Implement inclusive programs and community initiatives, Support persons with disabilities through training, empowerment, and advocacy, Promote accessible environments and equal opportunities ,Work with families, institutions, and partners to ensure full participation ,Inclusion begins with awareness, grows through action, and becomes real when everyone belongs.
