Leo club of Alexandria Apollo, Egypt is a social charity club registered in the ministry of social affairs under number 2484 .The club aims to help the society through its various community services and charity projects. Leo club of Alexandria has been founded in 1997 by a group of young men and ladies that made great effort in developing youth potentials so that they can believe in themselves and
take an active interest in the civil, cultural, social and moral welfare of the society. Since then, Leo club of Alexandria has been featuring many active members with different ages ranging between 18 to 28 years old, students in diverse faculties who work together on a to create ideas, projects, and a better chance for the poor families, orphans, and those in need in Alexandria and its surrounding cities. We have executed hundreds of successful community service projects and we’re looking forward to carrying out more projects by your help and support! Famous remarkable projects:
1) Ana Mawhub:
Everyone has a talent, Ana Mawhub aims to showcase and put spotlight on the amazing talents of kids with special needs. We started working on “Ana Mawhub” aiming to bring those talents altogether under one roof, providing them with the audience to listen, watch and scout those undiscovered talents and most importantly make those kids enjoy a wonderful experience. 2) BSLA:
BSLA, short for Basketball Summer League in Alexandria, primarily taking place in Alexandria Sporting Club since 1999, is all about sports and giving youth some sports time with a hint of competition! All funds earned from BSLA are dedicated towards medical treatment objectives.
3) Ramadan to GO:
This project is all about preparing and providing food and raw materials for cooking for the less fortunate. Not only do we provide top notch meals, but also charity bags related to our ‘Keyas AL Khair’ mini project which aims to provide all materials needed for families during the Holy Month.
4) Keswet El Sheta:
The goal is to leave no one feeling cold during the harsh winters, aiming to provide countless families and those in need with the warmth of winter clothes and blankets.
5) Medical Cases and Gharemeen:
Providing free health care through clinics in rural areas to provide free medicine and treatment to the underprivileged. Also aiding in paying Dept to people in need!
