Anna Lindh Foundation The ALF, was created in 2005 as a Euro-Mediterranean intergovernmental organisation based in Alexandria.

The Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF), is an intergovernmental organisation aiming to promote dialogue between cultures through intellectual, cultural and civil society exchanges. The ALF, inspired by Anna Lindh's legacy, is committed to fostering intercultural dialogue within its mission of nurturing inclusive societies where diversity is celebrated and everyone's voice is valued. By promoting peace, j

ustice, and strong partnerships, the ALF strives to create a world where people from diverse backgrounds live in harmony through open and meaningful intercultural exchanges. ALF brings together organisations, institutions, policy makers, and other change makers from all Euro-Med countries to open a dialogue and cooperate. People meet, learn, and collaborate, through the Foundation’s different programmes and initiatives in different fields to empower them to create a chain of positive change that touches more lives and communities. Its action is grounded on the two main ALF bodies: Its National Civil Society Networks, with more than 4.500 members, and the 43 States of its Board of Governors.

Designed with intercultural collaboration in mind, ALF in Motion is made for every civil society entity looking to strengthen their cross-cultural ties in a meaningful way - and we’ll cover all mobility costs to bring your proposal to life.

This is your opportunity to host a representative from an organisation across the Euro-Med and boost your impact. Work together to develop new projects, invite an expert to your event, co-create art, or produce new knowledge.

ندعو الجهات والمنظمات إلى تقديم مقترح لنشاط إبداعي في مجالات الموسيقى، أو الرقص أو الفنون البصرية أو أي شكل آخر من أشكال التعبير الثقافي، على أن تُنفَّذ في إحدى المدينتين: ماتيرا أو تطوان.

وينبغي أن تتضمن الأنشطة المختارة شريكًا محليًا في إحدى المدينتين، وأن تتفاعل مع المجتمعات المحلية، بما يسهم في خلق مساحات عامة للتبادل الثقافي، والحوار، والتجارب المشتركة عبر منطقة المتوسط.

All you need to do is share an idea you have for a cultural activity or performance, find a local partner in Tétouan or Matera, and submit your proposal for the chance of getting selected for funding.

We’re counting on your entities to transform the public spaces of the Mediterranean Capitals of Culture and Dialogue into living encounters of artistic expression, creativity, and shared humanity.

Through ALF’s 2nd Call to Support Cultural & Intercultural Activities, all entities and organisations from across the are invited to submit proposals for creative ideas, whether through music, dance, visual arts, performance, or any other form of cultural expression, to be implemented in either Matera or Tétouan.

The selected activities will be fully funded by ALF and aim to engage local communities while creating public spaces for cultural exchange, dialogue, and shared experiences across the Mediterranean.
