4️⃣ Years,
3️⃣ Scholarships for 2026 (so far),
2️⃣ Awarded at Molly’s Alma Mater, and
1️⃣ of the most well-rounded applicants…𝗦𝘆𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗩𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗹!

This year, Molly’s Miracles was especially honored to present a second scholarship to Sydney at Chaparral High School, recognizing the legacy of Mrs. Karen Tarbell. In a beautiful act of generosity, the Tarbell family selected Molly’s Miracles as the beneficiary for her memorial gifts following her passing. That generosity now has a name and a face—and Sydney Vogel is a perfect reflection of the legacy it was meant to honor.

Sydney lives her life guided by the motto inspired by her late father: 𝘗𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦. During her high school years, Sydney served as a peer counselor, a member of the Advisory Board member, a student ambassador, a 𝘚𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩 member 💪🏼 who advocated for mental health awareness and encouraged positive coping strategies via supportive peer connections, and a varsity volleyball player 🏐 from freshman through senior year!

In addition, she still found time and priority for actively volunteering in her community, and was even employed. Sydney worked with a local recreation center, assisting with youth camps and athletics and also as a caregiver with a company providing in-home care for elderly individuals, enabling them to stay within their homes.

Molly’s story inspires Sydney “to live with kindness, intention, and purpose.” She is committed to carrying Molly‘s light forward by “continuing to serve others and mak[ing] a positive difference every day.” 💗

Like both Molly and Mrs. Tarbell, Sydney knows that even the seemingly smallest of actions can leave a lasting impact on the beneficiaries of their kindness. She perfectly embodies 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦, and we are eager to see her continue to live out a life of purpose and a family legacy centered on helping others…and inspiring her peers in the process 🤝🏼

With scholarship number 2️⃣ of the 2026 season and 4️⃣ years of offering scholarships to Chaparral Seniors, Molly’s Miracles is elated to award 𝗟𝗶𝘇𝘇𝘆 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲!

Lizzy has a heart of gold and certainly one for giving 💖 The scholarship committee was so impressed with her selflessness, compassion, and her extensive volunteering and service trips. She’s served locally in her school and community, at summertime youth camps, and even abroad with humanitarian trips and refugee outreach.

In addition to serving others, Lizzy has excelled in academics, all while also serving in Chaparral’s Student Government, being a part of , helping the student body as a writing tutor, and being a multi-sport varsity athlete during her time at Chap.

We are confident that Lizzy will honor Molly’s legacy with a continued dedication to academics, involvement in a variety of extracurriculars upon arrival at the BYU campus, and by continuing to live with a similar compassion, determination, and kindness. She is eager to bring her Molly’s Miracles rock with her to college so that Molly’s legacy and spirit can continue to inspire others on campus and wherever the rock may venture to next 🪨📍🗺️

Lizzy plans to become a nurse practitioner 🩺 and will carry Molly’s example with her “as a reminder to treat others with the respect, care, and love that she so clearly showed to everyone around her.”

Congratulations, Lizzy, and thank you for so wonderfully representing our foundation, and your and Molly‘s alma mater ❤️🤍💙💛

𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗿! Mariah excelled in her academics and was involved in a plethora of extracurriculars. She is the epitome of “well-rounded”. She expressed that her educational journey was shaped not only by academics and activities, but also by faith, family, and the community around her. Mariah, herself, says it best: 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘱 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. 𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.

We were so very impressed by Mariah and all the applicants, their involvement, achievements, service to the community, and future endeavors. Mariah, however, set the bar sky-high 📊

She encapsulates our goals with the foundation and our sentiments, perfectly: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘺’𝘴 𝘔𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦: 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.
