🌍✨ Progress in Action: World Cleanup Day with Banlastic & Civil Society Groups ✨🌍

Celebrating , Revivals teamed up with Banlastic and amazing civil society groups for a meaningful cleanup in Alexandria! Together, we made real progress, showing what’s possible when communities unite for our planet. 🌱💪

We’re proud to share that Revivals was the first group to collect a full bag of waste, starting a vibe of action for the day. From cigarette butts to bottle caps, we sorted every piece of trash into separate bags for recycling, ensuring that our impact goes beyond cleaning up. 🤩

Our Progress Highlights:

Leading by Example: Revivals took the initiative and quickly filled our first trash bag, setting the pace for others to follow. 🌟

Waste Sorting: We made sure to sort all the trash like bottle caps and cigarette butts into different bags for recycling, helping reduce the harm to our planet and marine life. ♻️

Community Education: We engaged with beach visitors, raising awareness about plastic waste and sustainable living—because change begins with awareness! ⚓

Collaborative Action: This cleanup showcased the power of working together, with each organization contributing to a greener future for all. 🌠

This event wasn't just about cleaning up, it was about inspiring lasting change and working towards that together, we can Lead, Revive, and Thrive for a healthier planet. 🌍

💚 We'd like to thank everyone who joined us in our group for this amazing cleanup, Banlastic Egypt, ROTARACT ALEXANDRIA RAKOUDA, Alpha LEO Club of Alexandria Apollo and all the amazing groups who joined us in making a difference! 🙌✨

It's Our Earth, Our Responsibility. 🫡

For the first time ever in our climate action history, we've collaborated together with Goethe-Institut Alexandria, Green Society, and The Engineers Syndicate Sea Scouts جمعية الكشافة البحرية بالأسكندرية - Alexandria Sea Scout Association to celebrate Earth's Day and educate our future leaders. 🤩

We watched two environmental documentaries to raise awareness among our young audiences about cleaning beaches, fossil fuels dangers, saving lives underwater and beyond! 😯

Ending our amazing day, we've had our wonderful engaging workshops, Thanks to Green Society's creative team, we drew together our sustainable future and reached a lot of children and young people in our amazing community. 🤗

Drawing isn't enough? That's why you should follow and volunteer with us, because together we make the world brighter. 😍

A Better Salad is A better environment 🫣

Our April was something different! We thank Goethe-Institut Alexandria Seed Library for inviting a small group of our members to learn more about how a sustainable salad can change our lives. 😳

Crazy right? How can a salad be a sustainable meal? 🤔

In our Egyptian Ramadan, salads can be more nutritious than our MAIN meals. This, because using fruits, vegetables, and nuts can be more than 240%* cheaper than our common daily Ramadan meals (meat, chicken) while providing more nutritional value. 🤩

How will that affect you and our environment? 🤔

- These salads can use up to 90% less water than meat-based meals. Therefore, making you save more money on water and healthier food while conserving resources.
- Salads reduce your carbon footprint while supporting your local farmers to make our Alexandria a more sustainable city.

Try the Sunnah salad and share it with your friends: Dates, cucumbers, figs, mushrooms, olives, watermelons, and pomegranates. 😋
