On the final day of our meeting, we held a graduation party for our participants.

We gathered at Tartu Town Hall, where we discussed future opportunities and celebrated our young participants as we shared their diplomas.

This 4-day meeting brings together young people from Tartu 2024 Extended and Liepaja 2027 youth program to wrap up what they’ve learned together and share their experience organizing events.

This year, the Extended programme is organised in cooperation with Latvia. Through the Interreg Estonia-Latvia “Youth Connect” project, young people gain practical experience in leading international teams and developing cross-border cultural formats. More information: www.estlat.eu

The third day in Tartu took the participants on an adventure around the city and dance with the Latvians.

We started the day with a city game that was part of the KUS? festival program. After that, we got to know Siuru, the future Tartu cultural center, and discussed how we could organize similar events both in Tartu and in Liepaja. This was followed by a sticker workshop with Stencibility.

The evening continued with a celebration of the Last Friday of August, where visitors could dance Latvian dances and test their knowledge of European capitals of culture.
