Interactive Manufacturing at Schools

On Friday our University of Tartu team did a very last ”Interactive Manufacturing ” (InMaS Project) workshop for teachers! 👏

Within the workshop, the robotics teachers used EV3 and Python programming languages to program the robots to act as self-driving cars and successfully face the challenges the self-driving cars are encountering: recognizing pedestrians, houses, road borders etc. Also they got a overview about the Industry 4.0 activities and trends in Estonia.

INMAS activities successfully demonstrated a learning experience for pupils and their teachers to introduce aspects of production and manufacturing. Solving manufacturing challenges in a playful way strengthen interest and skills in robotics and coding.

University of Tartu team is happy to announce, that we had educated more than 170 students from 5 different high schools and this Friday we`ll finish our project workshops with Estonian robotics teachers!

The INMAS project is necessary to reduce the shortage of engineers and necessary specialists. Changes don't happen overnight, but a seed that has germinated can grow into an extremely profitable fruit in the labor market years later.

📢Today we organized two InMas project workshops for high school students from Viljandi Gümnaasium at the University of Tartu Delta Centre.

Interactive Manufacturing at Schools Mid-term meeting just finished and it was hosted by LMS lab from Patras University. All the partners from Estonia and Slovakkia were presented.

The two day meeting was very innovative and productive and we met after 2 long years!
