Nordic-Baltic Board of Examiners NBBE

Nordic-Baltic Board of Examiners NBBE Close attention was paid to international standards and practice. The title will be used in English alongside with national title.

Because Psychodrama has such a long and varied history throughout the Nordic and Baltic countries it was decided that there should be a centralized measure of recognized educational practice and theory. This organization was started in 1993 with the acknowledgement and acceptance from the other international Psychodrama accrediting institutions: The American Board of Examiners, The Australian Boar

d of Examiners, The New Zealand Board of Examiners and the British Psychodrama Association. The purpose of the Board is to promote and protect the level of psychodrama training in its area of activity. In order to achieve its purpose:

The Board sets requirements for two levels of training: Certified Practitioner (CP) and Trainer, Educator and Practitioner (TEP). The Board issues the title of Trainer, Educator and Practitioner (TEP) after the requirements have been met. The Board authorises the member institutes to grant the title of Certified Practitioner (CP) after the requirements have been met. The title will be used alongside with national title. The Board organizes conferences/seminars for CPs and TEPs. The Board organizes TEP examinations.

Trainers’ Day 2026 is coming up! We are meeting on 24th of April in Zoom to explore 🎭 PLAY as PROCESS.
Together we will:
• step into play as a developmental journey
• explore its role in spontaneity, roles, and collective intelligence
• experience how play opens space for real transformation
This is not about techniques. This is about how play actually works in us and between us.
👉 For psychodrama therapists, trainers, and educators ready to go deeper.
Let’s rediscover play — not as something we do, but as something that moves us.
💛To apply please contact Your psychodrama institute.

✅Save the date! Trainers Day online this year will be on 24th of April.
This year, thinking about the theme, We felt the need to discuss play as process in Psychodrama. This kind of existential play involves exploring life’s big questions—such as meaning, freedom, and mortality—through creativity, curiosity, and openness rather than heavy seriousness. By playfully engaging with one’s values, beliefs, and perspectives, it becomes possible to meet the fear of the unknown and discover new ways of relating to one’s own existence.

🫶We'll be happy to meet You in Zoom to learn, discuss and share about this important theme.
✅For more information and registration please contact psychodrama institute in your country or write a private message here.
💰This event is free of charge, but You can make a donation - PayPal: Nordic Baltic Board of Examiners.

✨ What if play is not a method… but a process of transformation?

In psychodrama, we often use play.
But what happens when we start to follow it?

Join us online at NBBE Trainers’ Day 2026 for an experiential exploration of

Dear colleagues, friends - Psychodramatists! Have a Merry Christmas and Spontaneous New Year!
Here are some instructions how to ski thru the 2026th year and stay on your feet. Remember, everyone falls sometimes, but these tips will help you minimize those tumbles!
⛷️ Keep your skiis under You - find your balance.
⛷️ Control your speed before you try to turn. Control your speed by keeping your ski tips together in a wedge or "pizza" shape. The wider the "pizza," the slower you'll go.🍕
⛷️ Start small, begin on gentle, beginner-friendly slopes (the "bunny hill") before moving on to steeper terrain.
⛷️ Handling uneven terrain. Look ahead - focus your eyes 10-15 feet down the hill, not directly at your ski tips.
⛷️To stop widely spread your ski tips into a strong wedge ("pizza"). As you do this, push your heels outward and press hard on the inside edge of both skis. This is your primary brake.
⛷️The golden rule to avoid falling - keep your weight forward and press the edges of your skis into the snow to maintain control.

Have a fantastic time in 2026th and remember to take a break when you get tired! 🥳

Welcome November! 🍂 Looking back to October we would love to give You a short summary from our Open Stage event. This time in October events were held in Estonia, Latvia and Sweden, and there were approximately 136 participants. Some stages will happen in November too. 🥳

"Leading the workshops created a wonderful sense of community, and it was nice that many training students were involved in facilitating the sessions — it was an excellent experience for them.
🤩 Some workshops even attracted more participants than expected. For example, the facilitators of one session stopped by a secondhand store beforehand to pick up a few extra chairs (you can see a photo of that too attached)," shares a representative from the Estonian Psychodrama Institute.
