The International Law Guild of Tallinn is a student organisation established in 2012, which has been set up to help International law students in Tallinn to get in contact with possible employers and also to get to know their peers and start networking. International Law Guild Tallinn (ILG, registered as Rahvusvahelise õiguse gild to the trade register of Estonia) was founded in 2012 to benefit th
e international law students in Tallinn Universities. Our operational idea is to provide for support in the professional part of the studies and balance that out with recreational activities. Our goals are to assist in locating to employment market, aid in other ways with everyday study life and otherwise provide support, recreation and altogether comfortable and efficient time while studying. This comes true by organizing business visits, social gatherings, speaker events, trips and other activities. These activities are decided by the Board and then allocated to separate Commissions to take care of. Effective functioning is ensured by dividing the Guild’s active members into different Commissions handling our activities. This makes it less burdensome to be active, and more people get the chance to gather experience on organizing events.
