Some weeks ago we had to say goodbye to the "Academy of Childhood" kindergarten, which for 17 years has been a pillar of support for many families.
We don't choose the times we live in, and from now on we will be living in a new format: 🌿 A place where your child is not judged, but understood
Starting September 15th, the "Academy of Childhood" children's family center is opening its doors in a new format — specifically for families where a child needs a little more attention, patience, and a properly organized environment.
A cozy house in the Kristiine district — with a garden, two terraces, and a separate sensory room where they can relax, relieve tension, and simply be themselves.
🕘 From 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM — school preparation (including for homeschooled children who otherwise have nowhere else to spend this time).
🕐 From 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM — homework assistance, socializing with peers, relaxation, and supervision.
You can come on your own or with an accompanying person — whichever is most convenient for your family.
We offer:
🌸 a child psychologist to whom children have regular access;
🌸 educators who assist with homework while considering each child's pace and unique needs;
🌸 small groups and a calm, safe atmosphere — without rush and without judging eyes;
🌸 warm, home-cooked meals.
🤍 We are officially registered as a childcare service provider for children with high care and support needs.
This means that if your child has an officially established need, depending on your municipality's terms and upon approval, partial reimbursement of the service cost may be available.
The most important thing for us is that the child wants to come here on their own. To be heard, accepted, and able to simply say: "I feel good here."
