Nurturing Harmony: Yoga for Little Minds 🧘‍♀️🪴

In today’s fast-paced and ever-changing world, the ability to find stillness and focus has become a vital skill, even for the youngest among us. Now more than ever, children need tools to navigate their emotions and stay connected to their inner selves ☀️

As part of the "Little Minds, Big Focus" project, supported by Erasmus+, the Academy of Childhood had the absolute pleasure of inviting expert trainers Jane Meresmaa-Roos & Alondra Chemodanov to the Maardu Lasteaed Rukkilill

This special workshop was dedicated to the art of yoga—not just as physical exercise, but as a powerful tool for holistic development 😌

Our educators dived into a world of creativity, learning how to use yoga to bring fairy tales to life, explore the complexity of emotions, and celebrate the beauty of nature 🍃

It was a day of learning how to guide children toward harmony, balance, and mindful growth. When we empower our teachers, we plant the seeds for a calmer, more focused future for our children 🪴

Приглашаем всех друзей на бесплатный мастер-класс по архаичной эстонской вышивке Мульгимаа

26.11 в 16.30 в нашем Доме Детства состоится встреча, на которую мы вас ждём!

С нами вместе (дети и взрослые) будут проводники: Марина Тэе, которую мы любим и знаем и Наталья Маченене - ментор, изучает курс “работа с текстилем” в Tallinna Rakenduslik Kolledz, фанат архаичной вышивки.

Приглашаем вас познакомиться с традиционной вышивкой Мульгимаа, которая стоит особняком от традиционных вышивок Эстонии. Архаичная вышивка уникальна и сегодня сохраняет древние орнаменты и передаёт через стежки мировоззрение жителей Южной Эстонии.

На мастер-классе мы поговорим о символах и цветах, нитках и стежках. О том, как архаичная вышивка используется в современной одежде, а узоры - в предметах интерьера.
Участники смогут попробовать основные стежки архаичной вышивки и создать небольшой собственный мотив.

This Monday we had an amazing theatre visit our Academy of Childhood on their way from Paris. They brought some magic with them ✨
Besides, we gatheted 100 € to help our friends in MTÜ Kassi Elu 🫰🐈
