Tuletame meelde, et esmaspäeval 03.02 on maikuu Jaapani missiooni kandideerimise tähtaeg. Programmi raames külastatakse Osaka maailmanäitust ning toimuvad erinevad ärisuunitlusega üritused ja B2B kohtumised nii Osakas kui ka Tokyo’s.

Missioon toimub koostöös Ettevõtluse ja Innovatsiooni Sihtasutuse (EIS), Välisministeeriumi ning Eesti Infotehnoloogia ja Telekommunikatsiooni Liiduga.

Dear friends of the Estonian Pavilion and Expo family,

As promised at the conclusion of Expo 2020 Dubai, we are carrying the torch forward!

We are excited to announce the establishment of the IME Foundation (International Mission Estonia), whose immediate goal is to lead Estonian delegations to Expo 2025 in Osaka. Looking ahead, we also have our sights set on the Specialized Expo in Belgrade in 2027. And, to top it all off, we are beginning the journey toward ensuring Estonia's outstanding presence at the Riyadh Expo 2030.

With the World Expo in Japan fast approaching, the IME Foundation aims to bring at least two Estonian missions to Osaka as special guests. We invite all of our friends from various countries and pavilions to meet these delegations, which will include representatives from both the private and public sectors.

Dear friends of Estonian pavilion! We are closing our Foundation. This notice is to inform you all of the liquidation and dissolution of the Foundation of Estonian Section at EXPO 2020 Dubai. The foundation has been dissolved by a resolution of founders.

We hosted 412 500 visitors, 6000 of them at the Business Hub, where we made more than 350 presentations. Our representatives visited 220 business and networking events at the site and hosted 80 high level official delegations from all over the World and 20 state level visits from Estonia. We sold 24 500 burgers and counted 140 media coverages during Expo. UAE-Estonian Business Council was created in April.

Thank you all who followed our activities and visited our pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai! 😀. See you at the Estonian House in Dubai from October or in Osaka, Japan 2025!

During Expo 2020 Dubai, two of the pavilion's attractions were the green wall of the Click & Grow smart gardens and the Yanu robot-barman.

For Yanu, the fruits of EXPO are 3 preliminary contracts and the company is in negotiations with 4 MENA corporations for sales rights and has received 10 interested buyers from the Emirates.

Click & Grow products, which provide smart small gardens, were already on sale locally in the UAE before, but the Expo 2020 Dubai has been instrumental in raising their visibility.

We all need some time for ourselves and our pavilion partner Silen knows it well!

Silen is a manufacturer of private silent pods and has signed a cooperation agreement with local UAE distributor ARKI Group and the first products have already been installed in the offices of their customers.

The company has attracted a lot of interest from various sectors of UAE ministries, and the relaxation booth, a collaboration between Silen and Synctuition, received particular attention and impressed among others the Crown Prince of Dubai who tested it.

Expo 2020 Dubai may have closed its doors, but good Estonian food will remain in Dubai!
Our pavilion partner, ventilation equipment manufacturer ETS NORD, in partnership with Carmen Catering, is behind our hugely popular Taste Estonia restaurant in the pavilion. They now plan to open their own restaurant in Dubai in the autumn.

With the help of the EAS - Enterprise Estonia, ETS NORD also found a local partner in the UAE, obtained four restaurant ventilation reference objects and started to build a local factory.

Täna uksed sulgeval Expo 2020 Dubail külastas Eesti paviljoni üle 400 000 inimese. Paviljonis väljas olnud ettevõtetele oli maailmanäitus edukas ja esimesed äritehingud on tehtud.

Seekordsel maailmanäitusel osalesid pea kõik maailma riigid ja puudusid vaid Island ning Põhja-Korea. Eesti esinduse juht Andres Kask selgitas, et EXPO-del käimine on olümpiamängudel osalemise või rahuvalvemissioonide kõrval loomulik osa riigiks olemisest ja tänasel päeval ka oluline osa meie riigi julgeolekust.
