The future is being engineered today!

Ahead of SB64, European Young Engineers has released its Strategic Demands, outlining what we believe is needed to accelerate climate action and strengthen the role of young technical professionals in shaping a sustainable future.

From engineering-led climate solutions and resilient infrastructure to meaningful youth participation in negotiations, this document reflects the perspectives of young engineers from across Europe.

Climate action cannot succeed without the people who will design, build, operate, and maintain the systems of tomorrow.

June is shaping up to be a busy month for EYE.

Our members and representatives will be contributing to key discussions on climate action, sustainable energy, and environmental sustainability across Europe and beyond.

📍 Bonn, Germany – UN Climate Meetings (SB64)
📍 Brussels, Belgium – EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW)
📍 Shanghai, China – International Student Conference on Environment and Sustainability (ISCES)

From international climate negotiations to energy policy and student-led sustainability initiatives, young engineers continue to bring technical expertise and fresh perspectives to the conversations shaping our future.

If you'll be attending any of these events, we'd love to connect! Send us a DM

📢 European Young Engineers is heading to EU Sustainable Energy Week 2026!

We are excited to announce that EYE has been selected as an Energy Fair stand holder at in Brussels from 9-11 June.

Throughout the week, we will be showcasing how young engineers are contributing to Europe's energy transition through our policy work, UNFCCC engagement, Engineering & Climate Change publications, Virtual COP initiative, and upcoming climate education projects.🌳

You can find us at Stand 009, where we will be sharing our work, meeting fellow organisations, and engaging in discussions on the future of sustainable energy in Europe.🌱🌍

This year, we are also pleased to be sharing our stand with VOYCE, bringing together youth perspectives from engineering, policy, and sustainability.🤝

More information on our programme and activities at the stand will follow soon!

Throwback to Europe Day. 🇪🇺

7-10 May, we gathered in Naples for the 56th EYE Conference, bringing together young engineers from across Europe to collaborate, exchange ideas, and shape the future.

It also happened to be Europe Day!

Moments like this are only possible thanks to the European framework that enables connection, mobility, and cooperation across borders.

Building the future, together.

Special thanks to the team at Europe Direct Napoli , who have helped us tremmendously with information, brochures and materials for our photo corner. Thank you so much!

Day two took participants from ideas to real-world engineering in the heart of Naples.

The morning offered a closer look at innovation through visits to the Apple Developer Academy and Leonardo S.p.A., where young engineers explored how technology, digital skills, and advanced industry are shaping the future.

The experience continued through the streets of Naples, with local food, history, and culture bringing everyone closer to the city and to each other.

It was a day of discovery, movement, and perspective, connecting technical knowledge with the people, places, and stories behind it.

Day 1️⃣ of the EYE Conference in Naples was all about warm welcomes, first connections, and the start of an exciting four-day journey 🇮🇹✨

Young engineers from across Europe gathered for registration and the official welcome at the Ordine dei Periti Industriali e dei Periti Industriali Laureati di Napoli, opening the conference with great energy, conversations, and anticipation for the days ahead 🤝💙

Held under the theme “Engineering the Twin Transition,” the conference brought together Europe’s next generation of engineers to expand their network, explore engineering companies, learn new skills, and experience the beauty of Naples. The 2026 edition took place from May 7–10 in Naples, Italy.

The evening set the perfect tone for what followed: talks, workshops, industrial visits, cultural experiences, and plenty of opportunities to connect with ambitious young professionals shaping tomorrow’s industries.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the first day so welcoming. Naples, we were ready! 🌊🍕✨
