Yesterday, the British-Estonian Chamber of Commerce visited Neo Performance Materials in Narva, Europe's first large-scale facility for manufacturing rare-earth magnets.

Rare-earth magnets are used in technologies that the next decade depends on, such as electric vehicles, wind turbines, and robotics. Until very recently, almost all of them came from one place. That is changing here in Estonia.

The BECC delegation was given a tour of the facility, an introduction to Neo's operations, and the chance to discuss what this investment means for European industrial resilience and the broader clean technology value chain.

A genuine privilege to see this scale of strategic manufacturing taking shape in Narva, and to bring our members closer to one of the most consequential industrial projects on the continent.

Thank you to the Neo team for hosting us.

This morning, Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna addressed BECC members at our business breakfast at one of the Unique Hotels Group in Tallinn.

He spoke about Estonia's foreign policy priorities, the shifting geopolitical landscape, and the future of UK-Estonia collaboration. The Q&A was open and direct, covering ground that matters to businesses operating across this bilateral relationship.

Thanks to the Minister and the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs / Välisministeerium for their time.
