✨ Rasmus Linde has been awarded the title of Most Sustainable Designer at the Estonian Fashion Festival 2026! ✨

At this year’s festival, the jury highlighted three outstanding nominees: Johanna Tuisk (OmaMood), Rasmus Linde (Mood-Performance-Dance), and Jaagup Kaiv (Antonius Fashion Show). All of them shared a conscious and responsible approach to fashion creation—from material selection to production processes and environmental impact.

According to the jury, Rasmus Linde’s work stood out for its "phenomenal ingenuity in utilizing waste and staying true to mono-materials. An impactful, boundary-pushing creation that becomes a masterclass in sculpturality."

This award is presented in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Estland and the CCI Contact Desk. The award is a study trip to Berlin Fashion Week.

Beyond experiencing the international fashion scene, the winner will also receive exclusive, personal mentorship from Natascha von Hirschhausen—a renowned German designer and leading advocate for sustainable fashion.

Bringing together cultural institutions, NGOs, policymakers, educators, and creative sector leaders from across the Baltic Sea Region, InnoCulture 2026 will explore how we can create the conditions, ecosystems, and opportunities for culture and creativity to flourish.

Culture is a pillar of democracy. Especially in moments of uncertainty, to participate in culture is to participate in the democratic life of a society. 87% of European citizens agree that culture is a key factor in making people feel more European, and that it plays an important role in developing greater understanding and tolerance. Yet the question remains: how do we put night culture at the heart of democracy?

On 10 April, Tallinn Music Week puts a vital topic in the spotlight: how nightlife shapes democracy—and how democratic values, in turn, protect nightlife.

Goethe-Institut Estland CCI Contact Desk joins a panel curated by Club HALL, featuring:
Anne Petzold (Nightlife Coordinator, Leipzig),
Freek Wallagh (Night Mayor of Amsterdam),
Liisi Ree (Cultural Sector Project Manager, Tallinn),
and more inspiring voices from across Europe.

Together, they’ll explore:

Malin Weijmer is the programme manager of the Nordic Knowledge Centre for Cultural Policy – Kulturanalys Norden. The work of Kulturanalys Norden focuses on coordinating cultural statistics, investigating cultural policy, and disseminating research on cultural policy. She holds a PhD in Conservation/Heritage Studies and is currently the project manager for studies on cultural and creative industries (CCI) in the Nordics and Sweden.

Andrea Gallelli, is statistical officer at Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Commission. He is responsible for EU statistics on culture and sport and coordinates the Eurostat Expert Group on culture and sport statistics. He holds a PhD in sociology, and regularly contributes to publications on various topics of statistics and social sciences. He is currently involved in the update of the ‘Guide to Eurostat culture statistics’.

Join the academy! Deadline 28 February 2026 ✍️

ekip next stop: the ekip academy.

From 1–4 June 2026, ekip will host its first Academy in Tallinn, a four-day, in-person programme for teams shaping innovation policy across cities and regions.

The Academy is designed for teams of three working on real policy challenges. Not to discuss innovation in theory, but to shape it in practice. Over four days, teams will work with:

– open innovation methods
– ecosystem-level policy tools
– cultural and creative industries as part of the system

Tallinn offers the right context: a city with deep experience in digital transformation, experimentation, and cross-sector collaboration.

Creatives are the missing piece.
In Tallinn, we work on what that means in practice.

Climate Stripes and New Local Patterns: An International Educational Campaign

What's your new local pattern like?

Target group is students aged 10–19 years old. Project is also open for further dialogue with fashion designers to build a bridge the projects outcome to fashion stages.
