Today, we remember Diantha Knott with profound gratitude — a woman whose life was defined by her love for birds, nature, photography, and the many journeys she shared with people from around the world.
Together with her husband, Jan, Diantha made a generous contribution to our foundation that made it possible to acquire the first hectares of the Puma-Mashi Reserve in Ecuador.
Because of her love and trust, an area of great importance for biodiversity began its journey toward becoming protected land — a refuge for wildlife and a legacy for future generations.
Although Diantha is no longer with us, her legacy lives on in the forests, in the birds that will continue to find a home there, and in every effort to protect the nature she loved so deeply.
Our foundation extends its deepest condolences to Jan, her family, and all those who loved her. We will honor her memory by caring for this legacy with commitment and gratitude.
Thank you, Diantha, for helping us protect a piece of Ecuador forever. 🕊️🌿
