This month during outreach, we’ve been learning from the parable of the wise man and the foolish man. 🏠

Jesus reminds us that it’s not enough to simply hear His words—we are called to listen and put them into practice. The wise man built his house on the rock by not only hearing Jesus’ words, but living them out.

As we share this parable with our Amadas, we’re reminded that God’s Word gives us a firm foundation. When we listen to Him and choose to follow His ways, we can build our lives on something that will stand, even when the storms come.

Please pray with us that each of our Amadas would not only hear God’s Word, but experience the transformation that comes from putting it into practice. 🙏

Today we celebrate Ecuador! 💛💙❤️

We are so grateful to call this beautiful country home and to have the privilege of walking alongside women and families in Quito. From its people and culture to its incredible landscapes, there is so much to celebrate and be thankful for.

Today, we celebrate Ecuador and pray for its future—that its people would experience peace, hope, and true abundant life in Jesus.

¡Feliz Día de la Independencia! ¡Viva Ecuador! 🇪🇨

Why do we call the women we serve 'Amadas?' 💛

'Amada' means beloved.

We choose this name intentionally because we want every woman to know that her identity is not defined by her past, her circumstances, or what others have said about her. She is deeply loved by God and created in His image.

Please join us in praying that each woman would come to know and believe that she is truly Amada. 🙏

No matter the circumstance, the invitation is the same: go to the Lord. 💛

God doesn’t ask us to come only when life is going well or only when we’ve reached the end of ourselves. He invites us to bring every joy, every disappointment, every fear, every question, and every victory to Him.

This is true for each of us, and it is true for our Amadas (beloved) women as well. Whether they are celebrating a victory, carrying the weight of shame, planning for tomorrow, or simply trying to make it through another day, God welcomes them into His presence. His Word offers hope, comfort, wisdom, and the reminder that He is always with them.

As you open your Bible today, would you pray that our Amadas would do the same? That they would discover they can bring everything to the Lord, and find in Him the love, peace, and strength they need for each new day. 🙏

As we continue our series on parables during outreach, this week we shared the parable of the pearl of great price. 💎

This short parable has been understood in different ways. Some see the pearl as representing the Kingdom of God—a treasure so valuable that it is worth giving up everything else to receive. Others see in it a beautiful picture of Christ's love for us: that He willingly gave everything so that we could be His.

Both truths point us to the heart of the gospel. There is no greater treasure than knowing Christ and belonging to His Kingdom. And through His sacrifice, we also see how precious we are to Him.

This message is especially meaningful for our Amadas women. Many have been told by the world that their worth is found in what they can offer others. But Jesus tells a different story. He calls them beloved, invites them into His Kingdom, and reminds them that they are precious in His sight.

Please pray with us that each woman would discover the surpassing worth of knowing Jesus and come to believe that she is deeply loved and treasured by Him. 💛

*Yuliana is an Amada (beloved woman) who has been working in prostitution for the past four years. Originally from Venezuela, she and her children have called Quito home for the last six years. As a single mother, she carries the responsibility of providing for her family on her own, without support from the fathers of her children or other family members. They have faced significant financial challenges, making it difficult to afford school supplies for all of her children.

Her son, *Elias, is an outgoing, kind-hearted boy who enjoys working with others and faithfully helps at home while his mom is at work. Thanks to the generosity of .eeh, Elias received everything he needed to start the school year prepared. The support also eased the financial burden on Yuliana, allowing her to purchase school supplies for his siblings as well.

We are so thankful for the ways the Lord provides through faithful partners and reminds our Amadas and their families that they are seen, supported, and deeply loved. 💛
