“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.”
- Psalm 19:1

Creation constantly points back to the heart and beauty of its Creator. From the vastness of the earth to the smallest details, we see reminders of a God who is intentional, present, and full of love.

And that same God sees our Amadas completely and says, “Eres amada” — “You are loved.”

In a world that so often tells women they are forgotten, used, or without worth, the gospel speaks something different: that they are known by God, created with dignity, and deeply cherished by Him.

That truth changes everything. 🤍

This week during outreach, we shared the story of the Samaritan woman at the well from John 4. 📖

Jesus saw her fully—her past, her pain, her shame—and still chose to meet her with compassion and grace. Instead of condemnation, He offered her living water and new life. After encountering Jesus, the woman who once avoided others left her water jar behind and ran to tell them about Him.

This story resonates deeply with many of our Amadas women, who often carry heavy burdens, rejection, and shame. Yet Jesus responds to them in the same way He responded to the Samaritan woman: with love, dignity, and an invitation to draw near to Him.

Please pray with us that each woman would encounter Jesus personally and come to know that nothing in her past can separate her from His love and mercy. 💛

Happy Mother’s Day 🤍

Motherhood doesn’t always look the way we expect. Sometimes it’s marked by struggle, sacrifice, and quiet strength that often goes unseen.

Today we honor all moms, including our Amadas, who continue to love, provide, and fight for their children in the midst of hard circumstances.

Their love is a powerful reflection of God’s love for us. We’re grateful for the privilege of knowing them and witnessing the strength and tenderness they carry each day.

We’ve been continuing to share stories of women from the Bible during outreach with our women, and this week’s story is a particularly powerful one for our Amadas: Rahab. ❤️

Rahab’s faith set her apart. In a situation marked by brokenness, she chose to believe in the one true God, and He met her with mercy.

Not only was she saved, but she was brought into a completely new life and into the family of God (literally—in the lineage of Jesus!).

That’s the heart of the gospel we share during outreach: that no woman is too far gone, no story too broken. In Christ, there is rescue, restoration, a new beginning, and a secure future.

We’re seeing our Amadas connect deeply with Rahab’s story and watching the truth of the gospel unfold in their lives every day—and we can’t help but praise Him. 🙏

Everything Hallelujah 🤍

So grateful for the quiet, steady ways God is at work. For every life He’s touching, every heart He’s drawing near, every story still being written.

Getting to walk alongside our Amadas and see Him move in their lives is a gift we never want to grow numb to. Even on the hard days, even in the waiting—everything, hallelujah. 🙌

Welcome back to another gospel metaphor 💛

So often, we carry a deep sense of being unclean. We are marked by our sin, shame, and the things we’ve done or experienced. It can make us feel distant from God, as if we could never truly come near to Him.

But the gospel tells a different story. Through His sacrifice, Jesus washes us clean, not because of anything we’ve done, but because of His great love for us.

We are no longer defined by our past or our sin. We are made new, made clean, brought near, and invited into a restored relationship with our Father. What a beautiful truth for us, and for each of our Amadas. 🙏

*Rubi is a strong and resilient woman with a big heart who, even while recovering from a serious injury, continues working to provide for her family. About a year ago, she experienced a traumatic incident with a client that left her arm severely injured. In that moment, the other women around her didn’t step in to help. And yet, Rubi chose to forgive them and now even prays for them.

After the incident, she was unable to work for a time. In the middle of that uncertainty, the donation of school supplies for her son *Javier from .eeh came as what she described as “a miracle at just the right time.”

Javier is 17 years old. He dreams of becoming an accountant one day and loves going to the gym. He also wanted to pursue boxing, but had to stop attending classes when they were no longer free. He faces some ongoing health challenges and is currently learning at a different pace. Even so, he continues working hard in his studies. He was very grateful for the school supplies and excited to continue his education.

We are so thankful for the ways God continues to provide, often at just the right time. Please join us in praying for Rubi, Javier, and other Amadas in similar situations—that doors would continue to open and that they would experience His care in tangible ways. 🙏

During outreach, we’ve continued our series on women in the Bible by looking at Hagar.

Hagar walked through incredibly difficult circumstances. Forced into a situation she didn’t choose, then rejected and mistreated, she fled into the desert with nothing, alone and uncertain of what would come next. But even there, God met her. In that place of desperation, she encountered Him and called Him “the God who sees me.”

Even in the middle of our own deserts, the hard, hidden, and painful places of life, God sees us. He meets us where we are and calls us by name.

Our prayer is that each of our Amadas women would come to know the One who sees them, cares for them, and never leaves them alone. Join us in praying that each woman would encounter Him personally, even in the midst of her circumstances.
