Last week marked a full-circle moment for a short-term team from Grove City College as they returned to teach upper elementary students, just as they did two years ago. The connection is that a student from their team two years ago, Molly Castina, is now our newest missionary! She arrived in Misahuallí just over a month ago after completing months of language and missions training. Currently, she is getting acclimated at the school during the final part of the school year and will serve as a full-time English teacher next year. Welcome, Molly, to the team, and thank you, Grove City, for partnering with us!

Our campus is well above the flood plain, but please pray for our town Misahuallí! The rivers rise this level once maybe twice per year 🌧💦

Our seniors have been all over learning about the USA's founding documents and the men who created them. We have discussed the radical brilliance of ideas like a government by the people, and inalienable rights given by the creator while considering the flaws of the founding fathers as well. They have been engaging wholeheartedly, reflecting deeply, and expressing how grateful they are to have these new experiences. Today they are attending worship and sunday school, tomorrow, they will learn about the price for freedom and the reality of oppression. Tuesday they fly home 🇪🇨. Thank you for your prayers!

✨Every year, the Sporting Federation of Tena organizes an inter-high school event that features Olympic-style disciplines, allowing students from the surrounding area to compete. Although we hadn't participated in recent years, we sent a group of students to the 2025 games held in December. where four of our students emerged as winners in their respective events:

✨Ball Throw: Thyana S. (4th Grade)

✨00-Meter Races: Dulce G. (8th Grade)

✨Javelin Throw: Evan C. (Sophomore Year)

✨Ball Throw: Evan C. , Andre M. (Sophomore Year)

✨Our students put forth an incredible effort and, while competing against the best in the region, brought home a couple of medals! 🌟 We are extremely proud of the hard work the kids demonstrated and their strong desire to continue improving and pushing themselves. They truly set a great example!

🩺Short-term Teams ended 2025 on a high note! This amazing group of students and doctors from hosted by reminded us why we host medical mission teams: it’s all about the love you put in and the patience it takes to find answers in places far from home.

🩺Our days were non-stop, from the mental health sessions at to the clinics in Pucachicta and Alto Pusuno. We saw so many people we lost track, but the feeling of helping is what stays with us. We truly hope they got as much out of this journey as we did.
