We continue working!

- Training in animal sanitation in Angochagua Parish.

- Visiting Chuga Parish to coordinate the project for the next expedition.

- In Cuellaje Parish starts the course in animal production.

- In Imantag Parish families received inputs from Chouce ans MAG to continue implementing a crop production project. In this same parish other familues received material to produce guinea pigs and fruit trees.

- Starting the project in hens production in Miguel Egas Parish.

- In Cahuasqui Area training in comercialization.

We continue working!

- In Vacas Galindo Parish " The fish production project" continues.

- In Salinas Parish, techical meeting with the women group and training in mental health.

- In La Esperanza Parish attending the anual report meeting.

- Women from Chugá Parish attending the bakery course.

- Planning the activities to support the Cocha Muyu Assotiation for the organic fertilizers elaboration.

- Meeting in Inta Kara Center with our partners in the Intag Zone.

- Continue training in chikens production as part of the food security project in Miguel Egas Parish.

- Participation in the " Coffe fair" to strengthen our farmers in the coffe production.

- In San Pablo area the Warmy group starts with a fair to improve the local market and to sell handricrafts, indigenous clothes and vegetables produced and elaborared by themselves.

- Visiting the assotiation in San Roque Parish to strengthen the agriculture production.

- Technical training in Eugenio Espejo Parish in hens raising.

- In Sigsipamba Parish we continue with the technical training in animal nutrition.

- Coordinating new activities with Jose Peralta Higschool in Peñaherrera Parish . Students will be attending intensives courses in the INTA-KARA Center.

- In Imantag Parish farmers received training in " Guinea pigs raising".

- Meeting in San Luis community part of Salinas Parish with women that participates in the " Saving money program".

- In Pablo Arenas Parish farmers completed the training course in commercialization and agriculture production.

Seguimos trabajando!

- Visita de Next Ecuador a las granjas certificadas en la zona de Intagy participaciom en el cierre del proyecto.

- Reunion técnica con lideresaa se la Asociaciom Sumal Micuy en la Parroquia Miguel Egas.

- Taller crianza de pollos, proyecto de seguridad alimentaria en coordinación con MAGP, Gad Miguel Egas y Choice.

- Visita Parroqui Chuga sitio donde se realizará trabajos de la construcción del reservorio en expedición.

- Visita Asoviación Imbawarmi, planificación de curso de corte y confección, y seguimiento al proyecto Acuaponia.

- Seguimiento al proyecto de crianza de cuyes a nivel familiar en Imantag, MaG, Gad y CHOICE.

- San Antonio, reunión nueva directiva del barrio de la Compañía de Jesús para coordinar capacitaciones y reactivación del nutrivivero.

- Apoyo en el cierre de caja anual al grupo de ahorro y crédito Pueblo Viejo.

- Gira de observacion con los participantes del proyecto crianza de cuyes a nivel familiar en Imantag, observan el proceso de crianza y faenamiento. Con el apoyo del GAD, prefectura, MAG y Choice.

- Reunión con ING. De Mag , gad parroquia cuellaje y vocal de eje de produccion para realizar 2 escuelas de aprendizaje área Pecuaria y Agrícola.

- Reunión vocales del Gad 6 de Julio de Cuellaje para planificación curso de gastronomía para grupo vulnerable de la parroquia.

- En Imantag con el grupo de beneficiarios del proyecto de riego. con el MAG y GADP, se realiza el taller en el diseño del sistema de riego e instalación.

Entrega de insumos para las familias del proyecto de seguridad alimentaria Runa Kawsay en Angochagua, coordinación MAGP y Choice.

- Se realiza el seguimiento al proyecto de crianza de gallinas ponedoras en la Parroquia González Suárez las familias participantes tienen niños con desnutrición. La visita se realiza en conjunto con MSP, GADGS y CHOICE.

- Campaña de desparasitacion y vitaminizacion animal en la comunidad de Agato con el apoyo de los promotores pecuarios en coordinación con GAD Miguel Egas, MAGP, Choice.

Seguimos trabajando!

- Choice Humanitarian Ecuador invitado a la rendicion de cuentas del Ministerio de Agricultura Imbabura.

- Parroquia Tumbabiro, visita a productores de granadilla para orientación al plan piloto de aplicación de prácticas agrícolas modernas, que mejoren su rendimiento y calidad. Trabajo conjunto con Gad Parroquial de Tumbabiro y empresa privada de exportación.

-Taller de capacitación en implementación de pollos camperos con la comunidad de aprendizaje Runa en la comunidad La Rinconada , Parroquia Angochagua, coordinación con MAGP y Choice

- Planificación de actividades y elaboración de proyecto de seguridad alimentaria que beneficiará a 35 familias de la Parroquia Miguel Egas, coordinación Gad y Magp.

- Fortalecimiento de los productores ganaderos en la Parroquia San Francisco de Sigsipamba inicio de los talleres de nutrición animal.

- Continúa creciendo la caja de ahorro y crédito Paisajes Andinos, con 33 socios de las diferentes parroquias de Intag.

- Salinas, reunión presidennte Gad parroquial para proyecto de desarrollo económico y aplicación a convocatorias.

- Mantenimientos de equipos de soldadura,,para continuar con los cursos de capacitación en el Centro Inta Kara

The board of CHOICE Humanitarian participated in a expedition trip in Ecuador.
Members of the board had the opprtunity to visit different parishes and projects.

INTAG ZONE
- Visiting the Inta Kara Center ( collecting center, the workshoop, the processing food area)
- Visiting Pueblo Viejo community ( reservory, biofabrica , certificated farm)

CHUGA
- Inaguration of two new reservories.

SALINAS

We continue working!!
Many activities were acomplished in the past week

- Choice participated in the receremony to provide materials to continue the crop production and green house project in this area.

- In Miguel Egas Parish families from Fackcha Llacta Association received material to continue the strenthening their entrepreneurship.
In this parish, also an animal deworming campained was acomplished. Indigenous promoters were encharged to apply the
animal deworming medication.

- In Imantag Parish , Choice will be supporting the construction of reservories. Families received materials from the loval goberment and Indigenous Nacional Institution. Agriculture Ministery and Choive will be monitoring the benefits of this project.
In this Parish farmers received a diploma for their participation in food production and commercialization.

- In Tumbabiro Parish starts the construction of thr green houde for the production of vegetable baby plants. Women will be the encharge to conduct this project.

- In La Esperanza Parish the animal deworming campaing was acomplished with the participation of the local goverment, Agriculture Ministery and Choice.

Warmy Esperanza a indigenous women group continue receiving a training in leadership and emotional resilience.

- In Angochagua Parish a women group from La Rinconada community had the first meeting to implement a new " Food security project".

- In Eugenio Espejo Parish the child care centers received some education material donated by the Junior board expedition.

In this Parish, some families received hens to continue in the implementation of the " Food Security Ptoject".

- In Chugá Parish the two reservory built by the expeditionaries and local goverment will be benefiting 30 families that actually are producing fruits.

- In Pueblo Viejo community part of Apuela Parish, technitians from Choice continue monitoring the granadilla crop.

- Technical meeting in Fackcha Llacta, Tumbabiro and Angochagua parishes.
