The British Council Algeria took part in the EUNIC Short Film Day, joining other European cultural centres and embassies in celebrating the creativity, diversity, and talent of European filmmaking.

For three consecutive nights, audiences came together for an open-air screening of short films from Europe, Algeria and beyond, highlighting the power of storytelling to connect people across cultures. The British Council contributed with “London Arabia” by Daniel Jewel.

We are grateful to our EUNIC partners, participating filmmakers, and everyone who joined us in making this celebration of European cinema such a success. We look forward to continuing to strengthen cultural connections through the arts.

It + verb + adjective

e.g. It tastes sour.

It + verb + like + noun

e.g. It looks like a little yellow rugby ball.

It + verb + as though + clause

e.g. It feels as though it’s covered in lots of bumps.
