La Fondation MAIRA a eu l'honneur de faire participer ses membres féminines à un atelier dédié à l'insertion professionnelle, organisé chez Timac Agro Algérie à l'occasion de la Journée internationale des droits des femmes.

Au programme :

▫️ Une présentation de la Fondation MAIRA sur les défis rencontrés par les personnes atteintes de maladies auto-immunes, invisibles et rares en Algérie dans leur parcours professionnel, avec un état des lieux de la réglementation actuelle et des pistes de solutions pour favoriser leur insertion.

▫️ Un atelier animé par Timac Agro Algérie autour de thématiques clés : comment rédiger ou améliorer son CV, réussir un entretien d'embauche et aborder la question de la maladie au moment opportun.
▫️Des témoignages et partages d'expériences inspirants des participantes.

Did you know that 300 million people worldwide are currently living with a rare disease? That’s roughly the entire population of the United States.

While these conditions are individually "rare," the community they form is massive.

At Fondation Maira, we believe that no one should face their journey in isolation. Awareness is the first step toward better diagnostics, treatments, and hope.

Rare diseases currently affect 5% of the population worldwide. 💙
Even though each condition is considered rare on its own, millions of people live with these diseases every day. Many are autoimmune or invisible, making them difficult to diagnose and manage. Raising awareness, improving understanding, and supporting patients is more important than ever. Together, we can give a voice to those who often go unheard and push for better care and treatments. 🌍✨

FEBRUARY. THE MONTH WHERE RARE BECOMES VISIBLE. ✨
As a foundation dedicated to autoimmune and rare diseases in Algeria, we are launching this month of awareness to bring light to those living in the shadows.

"Rare" is not as scarce as you might think. According to global health reports, over 300 million people worldwide live with a rare condition. In Algeria, thousands of families navigate these challenges every day, often without the recognition they deserve.

This month, we are breaking the silence. Our mission is to ensure that being rare never means being forgotten. Join us as we advocate for better diagnosis, specialized care, and a more inclusive future. 💡

La Fondation MAIRA tient à exprimer sa profonde gratitude à .agro.algerie pour les dons généreusement accordés au profit des femmes atteintes de cancer du sein, suite à l’événement plus tôt organisé lors du mois de sensibilisation au cancer du sein.

À la Fondation MAIRA, nous restons plus que jamais déterminés à faire toujours plus pour nos membres, à renforcer l’accompagnement et à multiplier les actions porteuses de sens.
