CELEBRATING OUR LEGACY ON INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY DURING WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH!

In celebration of International Women's Day, Fashion Group International was founded by 17 accomplished women in 1930, at a time when women were underrepresented across all industries as executives.

Charter members include Eleanor Roosevelt, editors-in-chief Edna Wollman Chase of Vogue and Carmel Snow of Harper's Bazaar, costume designer Edith Head, American sportswear designer Claire McCardell, cosmetics entrepreneurs Elizabeth Arden and Helena Rubenstein and more.

Architect Frank O. Gehry died today in his home in Santa Monica, California, at the age of 96. Gehry Partners designed the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao in Spain, Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, and other buildings.
